Welcome to our slice of heaven on the lake!

Relax at this breathtaking 3BD/1 Bath lake front home in Gaston on Roanoke Rapids Lake.

Serene, freshly renovated and perfect for your next trip. Every room has a view of the lake! Plenty of room for kids to play outside.

This lake is great for boating, fishing, kayaking,and canoeing. Swimming is not recommended but we can suggest a nearby public beach.

Early check-in/late check out may be available.

Boat access is 2 min away. 10 minutes from Lake Gaston and Edwards Beach

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, there is a spectacular view of the lake from every room!

We offer amenities and comfort to help you feel right at home including Keurig coffee machine, coffee, tea, bottled water, smart tvs, WIFI, complimentary Netflix account and more.

High chair, kiddie step stool, children dinnerware and silverware are provided.

Unwind in the fully renovated bathroom which includes complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Get a great night's rest on the premium mattresses with luxury linens.

Our favorite spot in the house is the screened back porch which overlooks the lake. Enjoy the beauty of nature and captivating sunrises and sunsets.

Bring your water equipment and enjoy boating, fishing, canoeing, or kayaking.

Note: There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Any activities in or near the water are at your own risk.

The entire house and outdoor spaces are accessible to guests.

Other things to note:
You may see wildlife such as deer, squirrels, ducks, cats, etc. during your stay.


Small and medium size pets, weighing no more than 50 lb are allowed.

Dog breeds which are commonly considered to be aggressive are NOT ALLOWED, including Pit Bull Terriers (e.g., American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier), Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, and Bullmastiffs.

A non-refundable pet fee is required at the time of booking. Please share a photo of your pet at the time of booking.

Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room was also perfect for us as we love board games and it offered tons of space. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and other things for cooking (especially things I have found often left out of rentals). The beds were very comfortable too.All of us agree we booked the best space for us for a relaxing weekend and would return in a heartbeat. The host was very communicative and quick to answer any questions. They were very kinds and accommodating.

I had an amazing experience at this Slice of Heaven. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. The house is extremely inviting and comfortable with lots of extra touches from the hosts. I slept like a baby and enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the screened back porch overlooking the lake. The view was unforgettable and breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed longer.This will be my preferred home any time I'm in the area!

I enjoyed my stay on the lake at this property. The home was clean and comfortable. It was very spacious inside and outside for our family of 4. Bathroom: Modern and updated. Toiletries and towels were provided. The quality of the items and decor was nice. The water in the shower was nice and hot. Bedrooms: All rooms were comfortable. The beds were cozy and the temperature was easily adjustable for comfort. Living room: There are several chairs for comfort and areas to eat such as dining table.Kitchen: The kitchen was clean. There is a large refrigerator and appropriate cooking items. I was pleased to see the selection of seasonings to choose from and the ability to utilize various appliances. Outdoors: The grounds around the property are well maintained. Two carports for vehicles, a large deck and screened in porch in the back of the property, which were all well maintained. We were easily able to work and take meetings on the deck and porch areas. Wifi is great! The view of the lake is beautiful and there is seating right on the edge of the lake as well as a fire pit. The pictures of the property are accurate and host is accessible. We appreciated the outreach and easy access. There is a home guide which reinerates the information provided via email. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future. Thank you Renee for the thoughtful welcome gift and making our stay special.

Overall good experience and host was great. Area not the best which is what we were checking out. The screened in porch overlooking lake was the best part. Accommodations were ok, but was very clean and everything was provided.

Truly a Slice of Heaven

What a fantastic view! This house was just as described and impeccably clean. The owner supplied everything you need in the kitchen. You could easily prepare a meal without having to bring a lot of "extras". No small detail was missed. The owner was also incredibly helpful, offering suggestions for dining and swimming spots nearby. The beds were super comfortable, and the house genuinely felt like a home away from home.

Relaxing

All went well with my stay. There is no road sign leading to the property so it’s easy to miss the turn. I had one concern and the hostess addressed it. I would definitely recommend this location.

Absolutely delightful stay!

It is right on the lake and picture perfect beautiful. Sipping coffee in the mornings on the 3 season porch watching a peaceful sunrise and listening to fish jump in the lake, it was perfect! The house is super clean and the extremely comfortable beds made for peaceful evenings. Our host was very tuned in to make our stay most pleasant. Sublime VRBO.
