Hillbilly Hilton "# 525 on ylellinen hirsimökki vain muutaman minuutin päässä Gatlinburgin keskustasta. Mene tähän hämmästyttävään hirsimökkiin ja näet upean loistavan huoneen holvikattoineen, olohuoneen ylellisillä huonekaluilla, ruokasalin suurella mukautetulla mäntypöydällä ja täysin varustetun keittiön ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetuilla laitteilla ja graniittisillä. Kävele päätason itäpuolelle tullaksesi kahteen suureen king-makuuhuoneeseen. Jokaisessa huoneessa on televisio, kun taas toisessa on massiivinen poreallas. Tällä päätasolla on oma kylpyhuone avuksesi. Yläkerran parvihuoneessa on myös iso king-vuode, kylpyhuone ja TV. Nautit heräämisestä uskomattomille vuoristomaisemille, katsottuna kokonaan lasi-ikkunoista rakennetulle seinälle! Tässä suuressa mökkihuoneistossa on iso ympäröivä kansi, joten voit istua ulkona keinuilla tai syödä lounasta ulkona olevalla ruokapöydällä. Thanksgiving in the Smokey Mountains
The whole family was pleased with this beautiful cabin. We had the best Thanksgiving ever with a great Thanksgiving feast and just a relaxing day around the cabin. Our grandchildren loved the game room and the loft area. The view was awesome looking at the mountains and sitting outside on the porch drinking morning coffee watching the sunrise. Highly recommend this cabin. We stayed the whole week and would stay here again if we come to Gatlinburg again. Very clean cabin with plenty of room

Late Summer Stay
The property is beautiful. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our party. Location to Gatlinburg is great! The only negative to the trip was the cleanliness of the cabin. The dining table looked as if it hadn’t been wiped down from Previous occupants. When we wiped it down the paper towels were black. This led me to believe the cleaners are not using any type of cleaning substance when wiping it down at all. The bathrooms upstairs were clean. 2.5 bathrooms in basement… water pressure was good. We did have issue with very upstairs bathroom leaking into the bedroom below. They were quick to reply that a technician would be out to address the issue. Overall we had a pleasant visit with minor issues. The highlight of the stay was a visit from a mama bear and two cubs.

Family trip 2024
We had family coming from 2 states & 1 country. The layout of this cabin worked well for the 13 of us who stayed - additional 2 of us were local & stayed overnights at home. We looked for a space big enough for everyone to be together near the kitchen & this was wide open for the kitchen, living room & had a nice big dining table for 15 of us. We ate, played games, sat on the deck ‘ enjoyed each others company with a couple of pool & foos ball tournaments thrown in.

Good location - NEED NEW CLEANERS!
It was filthy! Hair (human) hair everywhere, dead bugs, food on dining room table and we are pretty sure the downstairs sheets were dirty! The hot tub was NASTY, refused to get in it. There were no usable pool sticks! It clearly needs some attention! I would hire new cleaners as it’s been clear that is the most complained about thing surrounding this listing!

Overall impression is that this is a dated cabin that is not well kept. The cabin was dirty, in that it appeared that the only housekeeping that was done was to change the sheets and towels for the next guests. It was apparent that the cabin had not been substantially cleaned in quite some time. Windows were very dirty, dead bugs in the sinks and windowsills. Cobwebs throughout the house, including on the front door. The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced as it sprays water all over and since there is so little counter space anything on the counter gets wet. The outdoor garbage cans were not empty when we arrived and although that is not a big problem, it is indicative of the cleanliness as a whole. Additionally, for a cabin that sleeps 14 or 16, the kitchen is very small and very poorly stocked. There were two drawers and one of them wouldn't open. One of the doors to a kitchen cabinet was broken off. Everything was a mismatch, like it was stocked from Goodwill. It made it very difficult to cook Thanksgiving dinner (and we did it twice).

There were 10 of us from Texas. We loved the smokey mountains. This was a family vacation with out 2 daughters and their husbands. We had the 4 grandkids with us. Everyone had plenty of room in this cabin. We all had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We sat on the porch in the mornings and evenings. Then we would go in and play games in the game room when it got dark outside. It was fun for everyone. We all just picked what we wanted to do for the day. We would go out during the day and meet back at the cabin sometime in the afternoon. The son-in-laws would grill or cook something for dinner each evening. Thank God for them or we might of been really hungry!!! It was a all around wonderful vacation!

Fun for families
We had a wonderful family reunion here - everyone was pleased with the spacious accommodations. The hot tub was great, game room, and all the bathrooms too. No one felt cramped. The big open kitchen with large table was especially nice. Couldn't have been more pleased!

Very disappointed.
It's a beautiful cabin. Paid for an early check in. The entire cabin was dirty. The beds had dirty sheets. Contacted Aunt Bugs, they apologized and promised they would have a cleaning service out there within the hour. After 5 hours of waiting no cleaning service came out. I called again, they promised someone was coming. We left to eat. Came back, cabin looked clean, until we looked in.bathtub...full of dirty towels and wash cloths. So we know the tub was NOT clean. Lots of mold in bathrooms around tub's and showers. The main reason I was very upset and disappointed was I booked this cabin because it said there was a community pool included. We found pool, gate was locked, and had cleaning supplies around. So again I call. They said that we are more than welcome to use pool. So the next day, get kids and grandkids ready for pool. Walk down there, gate is locked. Contacted Aunt Bugs again and this person said that we did NOT have pool access!! I said that was one of the main reasons. It even shows it on the description of property. Too many things wrong. Not worth the money, poor communication.

Very nasty, not as described and furniture broken
Very nasty, texted/messaged office 3 times with no responds . Couch broken. The toilet on main level nasty and rusty. And above the beds there is so much dusty it's unreal. The hot tub water needs to be drained and refill nasty . Floors not vacuumed. Baseboards filthy. Table sticky with something on them. No bedsheets on beds upstairs. Shower on main level messed up . And we were told there was 8 beds not true . Call and ask was told there was a air mattress in the closet when washer and dryer is searched everywhere no air mattress!!! So we had to go purchase one . Just go to cabin and check these things and you will see how nasty it is.. Very disappointed. I think I should be refunded partial of my money. Hope to hear back from y'all before I leave my review Not worth the money

House was awesome. Accommodations were great for 3 couples from same family and 2 other couples. At first air conditioner was not working but within the hour it was fixed. Not at all happy with the cleanliness. Scrubbed my own bathroom floor as dirty and black hairs all over. Flat circles of confetti all thru house and on decks. Cigarette butts all over front of deck. As the housekeeping charges are over charged, this house should have been spotless. Offered a discount on next reservation, but not appropriate as may not get to visit again.

Aesthetically fulfilling
We attended a family reunion, and visited varied relatives in their rentals while in the Gatlinburg area and none compared to the comfort, aesthetics, access to all restaurants & activities offered in the area. I would gladly tell anyone visiting the area to check out Aunt Buggs cabin rentals. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay, beautiful property. But, the Mountain View, is what really set it off. They couldn’t have informed us that the pool was temporary closed due to renovations, other than that it’s definitely a sight for the eyes.

The house is beautiful, it's just a shame that the owners do not take some pride in descent furnishings. The couches were broken down with wires poking out. Pool table was dirty and only 1 broken pool stick, no tips on the rest. Charcoal trash bin was full to the top so no where to put our used charcoal. Shower doors off the tracks. Mattresses were uncomfortable. There were not enough trash bags or towels, absolutely no supplies like papertowels, dish soap, dish detergent, etc. Super disappointing for how expensive it was!!!

Our property managers are very cordial and eager to help make your stay go well. As far as the home itself, the cleaning is average at best. So much dust build up on fans you couldn't turn them on. A few shower doors were off track. Boards at bottom of the stairs was split. Door handle at top of stairs was upside down that has sharp edge. Front porch had to be swept which was not very inviting. The home is actually quite beautiful and spacious enough for 12 people, but the furniture really needs updating as does the carpet. Both had many stains. Again, when you reported this to the property manager they did there best to accommodate. I would not stay at this particular property again, although I would use the property manager and recommend they visit each property to see what they are actually leasing. If they did, they are some properties they would probably not want to stay themselves.

Not worth the money and run down
When first arriving to this house we were very surprised to find trash under the front porch steps. The porch wasn’t swept from fallen leaves and debris and mismatched porch furniture did not give the outdoors that comfortable mountain getaway feel that one would expect from a house for this price. The poor first impression was an accurate representation of our stay. The inside was very dirty, forcing to wear shoes within the house all week long. I would not suggest renting this house if bringing children along because the rugs and carpet were beyond outdated and filthy and not suitable for young children to crawl on. Many amenities failed to live up to the standards (I.e. the undersized pool table that is squeezed in with two pool cues without tips and lacked the necessary room to actually play). The price of the house is not worth it even for the five bedrooms and bathrooms. We tried beforehand to contact the management of the house because we were worried about the COVID pandemic, but they were unwilling to return our money. They had plenty of opportunities to make us aware that the community pool (a major reason of which we chose this specific house) was closed do to apparent renovations. We were very disappointed with our stay and requested some money back due to the fact that the inaccurate homes description, but the management did nothing. We hope the owner makes this right and we hope no more families pay the excessive fee for a big, but below average house. Linens were provided and clean but that was the only amenity that actually lived up to standard.
