This property was well suited for our short, 4-night stay. The beds were all King-sized and extremely comfortable. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, & living room which were wonderful for my 90-year-old mother, who didn't want to go up & down a lot of stairs. There are only a couple of stairs to enter the property. We enjoyed the hot tub & were thrilled that the property allowed dogs, however, there are not a lot of grassy areas to walk them, but we enjoyed walking the neighborhood. The road on which the property is located is steep, winding, & VERY narrow. Meeting another car, especially a large vehicle, is a frightening experience! I would be hesitant to drive my minivan here in the winter months as it was hard to gain traction on the road when it was wet from rain, & I have nearly new, all-weather tires. There is also a lot of construction going on that started fairly early. We had an amusing visit in the middle of the night from a raccoon on the patio who loved tormenting our dogs & knocked over the garbage cans. Several neighbors warned us about bear sightings in the area, but there were no issues. We just kept the dogs inside & were very aware during their walks. I had hoped to see one! The kitchen furnishings were sufficient. I do wish the chairs reclined, but that is just me wanting to nap! I do want to reiterate that the property itself is lovely, & none of my comments would preclude me from renting here again.
