Nice place but staff could be more helpful.
Stay was a quick weekend trip. Hotel was very convenient to where I needed to be. Staff was friendly but not overly friendly. Nothing was explained to use where anything was or what to do if we needed anything. Rooms were clean and ready. Did say anything about me being charged and I signed nothing when I checked out.

We reserved a double queen according to Hotels.com wording, but got a one queen bed very small room. I was told website was wrong. The motel could use some updating and upgrading.

The lady at the front desk was always pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job. It did not smell bad and was always clean. It’s an older property and doesn’t seem to have been renovated so there is wear and tear. It is not luxurious by any means. The breakfast area is small and gets congested during high season but if you want to be in the middle of all of the downtown Gatlinburg attractions, you can’t beat this location. It definitely saves you from fighting the traffic and finding/paying for parking.

They wouldn’t let us check in early because they said they still had to clean the room. We waited around all day and finally at 4 we were able to enter the room. There was human hair all over the floors, floors were sticky, human hair and BLOOD in the bed. the shower had pink and black mold growing in the grout and the toilet was very obviously not wiped down at the least. I swear that there was a 2-way mirror right behind the bed when I tested it. I have stayed in motels that were questionable but this was the most disgusting experience. We asked for new sheets and the staff, eating pizza were annoyed and only gave us two fitted sheets instead of actual sheets and pillow cases. When we told them about the room they said, “okay sorry”. We decided to check out immediately and go to another hotel. They wouldn’t give us a receipt or any papers to let us know that we were officially checked out. No refund or accommodations offered whatsoever. Btw, the breakfast is a joke. It’s stale cereal(no milk) and off brand breakfast sweets from a gas station.

Liked the location and convenience of parking. Desk employees were not helpful or engaging. Rarely looked up from phones, etc. when entering hotel or walking by front desk. Room floors, microwave, refrigerator and bathrooms could have been cleaner. There was food left in the microwave from a previous guest, cabinet that appliances were on was broken and leaning on one side. Smoke alarm in one room was hanging from the ceiling. Shower rod in one bathroom was incorrectly installed and shower curtain would not close, causing floor to be soaked each use.

Not a bad little spot close to the strip in Gatlinburg. If you’re just looking for a cheap spot to stay a few days in walking distance. People at the front desk are pretty rude but over all I’d give it a 3.
