Mountain View Memories is a two-story, family-friendly home that has been constructed recently to provide guests with the best lodging experience they could ever dream of. The first level is the main living space where the living room and dining area are together to create a sense of togetherness during your stay. Leathered granite countertops with soft close cabinets can be found in the fully-equipped kitchen along with stainless steel appliances that will make cooking a breeze. The dining table has space for up to 10 people, which is perfect in case you were thinking of treating your family to an unforgettable retreat. The living room is the ultimate gathering hot spot; the gas fireplace will keep everyone warm during chilly days and the flatscreen TV will be perfect for movie nights. You can tune in your favorite show or stream your favorite Netflix movie or documentary (from your account) for an entertaining night at home. The bumper pool table in the living room adds even more fun to the equation. Younger guests will love relaxing on the triple bunk bed set, in addition to the 500 game multi-game unit and the designated children's room. Right off the living room is the main access to the large deck from within the home.

Scenic mountain views are the first thing you'll notice when you step outside. Fix yourself a hot beverage and get comfortable on any of the gravity chairs available and get lost in the scenery in front of your eyes. Perfect for our Family of Five
This was a short getaway for our family. The house was as advertised. The drive up to the property was manageable and quick. Perfectly situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I was surprised at the lack of silverware for a home advertised to sleep 9. We only found 5 forks and 4 spoons in the kitchen. There is a lack of sitting space in the family room as well. Overall, our visit was great and we enjoyed our time there.

Absolutely stunning property. It was the perfect fit for a family of say 5. You could have maybe two more on couches but there are only 3 bunks and 1 master bedroom. The property was absolutely perfect though. Perfect for a family.

This home made for a wonderful first time in Gatlinburg. We can’t wait to come back!! Clean, comfy and the view was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood and prime location close to everything!! Highly recommend staying here.

Terrible Service
We were never able to stay at the home because the Verification app for Vacasa didn’t work. Vacasa never communicated with us and the. Cancelled the reservation via VRBO at 10pm the night before check-in when we had already drove to Gatlinburg. Never again will I book with this company.

Cabin was beautiful, customer service not so much
The cabin was beautiful. We had issues with not having any blankets upon arrival and customer service was contacted. 3 hours later after texting and calling, we were told we weren’t getting blankets until the next day and this is after every store was closed. The next day I get a call from the property manager offering some compensation. I was told I would get a phone number sent to me, which never happened. I finally now (6 days later) contacted customer service for the third time this week and they were able to put a note in to local staff about it. The property manager put in my help ticket that I was told to send the receipt rather than contacting me after three attempts to contact her about sending the receipt. This stay was extremely frustrating and two of my guests still did not have blankets after confirming with three different people what we needed for bedding. Honestly, I would recommend picking a different property through a different rental company than Vacasa.

Beautiful sights, difficult to house 7-9 people
The views and the home itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! However, I understand there being only a few set amount of trash bags being given at check in, but only having ONE and it being in the kitchen trash can already is a little ridiculous. The hammock out back on the porch was ripped when we arrived, there was a hole in the downstairs bathroom from the doorstopper and the hot tub outside would not turn off after many attempts of doing so. Although there were a few complaints, like I said previously, the view from the home was absolutely beautiful!!!

Let me start by saying the house itself is beautiful. It had plenty of space for us the parking was a little difficult but all in all the house was perfect. The cleanliness of the house on the other hand was disgusting. The sheets and blankets hadn’t been washed. There was a blood stained pillow. The floors were filthy. I dropped my towel on the floor and when I picked it up it had black on it from the dirty floor. The shower curtains were dirty. I took and washed everything. Sheets, towels, mattress covers, pillows, dishes wiped the fridge... I scrubbed the floors and walls as best I could. Lastly the hot tub. Gross. It smelled like mildew and had nasty gray brown bubbles in it .i got in it and tried to clean it as best I could. I promise the house was cleaner when we left. The dishes in the cabinets had food on them. The crock pot looked like someone dropped it and cracked it. There was food splashed on the baseboard under the cabinets. It was just not what I expected at all for such a beautiful home. I should not have had to spend time cleaning a house I paid a cleaning fee for. We would love to come back and stay if they clean better. Also we got locked out of the house our code just stopped working. I’m not sure if something was wrong with the keypad or what. It was raining and cold outside and I had to call customer service to get access to the physical key.

Beautiful location!
The property is in a beautiful spot with great views of the mountains, although we were not used to driving on the skinny, steep and winding roads and it was difficult to get out of the driveway. There were not many toy choices in the bins for the kids, but they enjoyed the Pac-Man arcade game when we were at the house. It would have been nice to have a couple of necessities like coffee filters and a bit of laundry detergent, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for the price of the rental, but these were not listed as amenities, so I guess not to be expected. Overall, it was a great stay and our family enjoyed it!

Disgusting and lack of supplies
The pictures were misleading , I wish I could post pictures . The air filter for the house looks like it hasn’t been replaced in months , blood stains on pillows , could be urine stains on the beds , yellow stains on the pillows , garbage all over the property . The hot tub had mold in it and smelled horrible .

Not what we expected
We loved how close it was to everything but we had lots of issues… First we got there and they sent us the wrong code so we weren’t able to get in, I called costumer service and they didn’t answer, luckily my husband found one of the back doors open and that’s how we got in! We didn’t hear from anyone until the next day and that’s only because I sent a message to let them know the house wasn’t clean!! There was dirt in the fans, baseboards, and the master bathroom was dirty too, they said they were sending someone to clean and fix the lock and honestly the only ones that did their job was the person that went to fix the lock, we ended up having to clean the house… Also the blinds in the master room were broken, the doors don’t shut right… At checkout we felt rush because the cleaning lady got there at 9:30 a.m. I hope someone finally pays attention to this reviews soon!!!

Great location and most beautiful view
We loved this place just for the view it self. We got to see a bear which was amazing. This property has a lot of potential, needs to fairly cleaned. There’s dust everywhere, master bathroom bath tub was clogged, dishwater had water in there as well. Lights in the Stair case was not working. I would definitely stay here again, I’m not a biggie on the cleaning my wife had brought some extra Clorox wipes and she was wiping left and right.perfect location to access the center of gatlinburg. This cabin was perfect for us! Thank you!

Spring Break with 3 Kids
Check-in was super easy. Unit appeared clean, we had to request a new shower curtain liner due to mold. Property manager gladly left at back door for us. There was plenty of sheets for the beds, but only one blanket. I had to drive to Wal-Mart at 9pm to get blankets for the bunk beds. Also, not enough towels and rags, especially if using the hot tub. There was no kitchen towels or pot holders. We had to use bath towels. Check out was at 10am, but the cleaning staff showed up at 9:15, so we felt rushed to leave. My kids loved the house and it was perfect for our family of five. We plan to go back, but now know to bring our own blankets, bath and kitchen towels.

Perfect for families.
We enjoyed our time. Great location. My boys loved the hot tub and the bumper pool table. The upstairs is great for kids. Everything was very neat and clean. We enjoyed the easy to use fire place on chilly evenings and mornings.

Great Place, Short Drive to Ober Gatlinburg
Came here for a ski trip with 7 of my friends. The house was very clean and there was plenty of sleeping room with the triple bunk bed and pull out couches in addition to the main bedroom. Would highly recommend this place!

Nice location, but simple improvements needed
Pros -- the location was nice. Close enough to everything but just far enough to be removed from the busyness of town. Our family loved playing bumper pool and spent our evenings competing against each other. The layout of the cabin was nice. Wood was provided for a bonfire. We were allowed to check in early. The view, especially from upstairs was beautiful. Cons -- could have been cleaner. A few easy things could have made a big difference such a cleaning the vents, bunk beds didn't have sheets on them (big picture, not a big deal but with the money paid, it would have been nice to not have to wrestle them on, especially the upper bunks), fire pit was so overgrown that we had to clear it before we could use it. The doors that lead to outside were not sealed well -- could be a problem in the colder months. And a couple simple, cheap things that could make a big difference... add some hooks to hang towels, hot pad holders (there weren't any), and kitchen towels (there was only one). Missing the pieces for the Hooky game. The main floor bathroom sink drain needs to be cleaned out as it drains very slowly.

We had a great time at this cabin! The view looks east so the sunrise is amazing and it is located very close to the strip in Gatlinburg! We all took turn in the hot tub and there was a huge dinner table that worked out very nice too! We would go back in a heartbeat!

First look: clean but… looking closely not
Our first look of walking in was WOA, this is nice and seems clean. Here are a few items that should be addressed: Check lightbulbs(lightbulbs in both bathrooms only had one working light) Pool cue stick (only one available; was another one but it was broke) Upstairs bugs (dead bugs on the window sills on the upstairs room) Upstairs rolling chairs (when we arrived one of the kids fell back- a rolling wheel was not attached) Master bathroom (sink drain is way too slow) Both bathrooms (could use hooks to hang clothes or towels ) Terrible deck seating ( we arrived and there was only one lawn chair set up- the others were folded and put into corner- they were all broke- this was a huge problem bc us three adults could not enjoy our coffee and the Mountain View’s in the morning) Family room ( need more lighting- like floor lamps- absolutely need more seating in living space- add another couch; please get a bigger TV for living space - wow- the tv looks out of place and hard to watch) Playroom (needs another lightbulb only one working) Suggestion: put a queen sized bed in the upstairs room- your room is so large and could accommodate a bed in addition to the bunks For the price we paid for only 4 days-the cabin should have been impeccable!!! majority of these items are game changer for us. We will not return to this cabin for this price
