Villa Grassi Platinu is a wonderful, large, light, and spacious family home with lots of space for entertaining, both inside and out. The attractive stone-cut pool and terrace area has distant views out to the sea. The front door opens into a large hallway and continues into the huge open plan comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen, and diner with a large table seating up to 6. On the ground floor there is also a shower room.
The villa consists of 3 bedrooms; two twins and a double with ensuite bathroom and a shower room. A foldaway bed and/or cot could easily be accommodated. There is also a front terrace with lovely views over the fields and out to sea. There is one other full-bathroom available as well as one WC.
The house has fans and, air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat. The air conditioning units are operated using one- and two-euro coins.
Villa Grassi Platinu is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Ghasri, which has restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, and a distinctive red domed church. A short distance away is the fabulous church of Ta'Pinu that, since the rumour started in 1883 of our Lady of Ta'Pinu talking to a local, has been a pilgrim destination for many. Visitors include St John Paul 11 and Pope Benedict XV1. The Inland sea and spectacular blue hole are a short drive from here as is the local craft village. The capital of Victoria is a ten-minute drive away and a visit to the ramparts of the Citadel to see 360 views of the Island is a must.
We partner with a local company who can organise Direct Return Transfers from the airport direct to your villa and back again which also includes the short ferry journey. If you prefer, they can also organise car hire which can be delivered direct to your holiday villa as well; no more queuing at the airport for car hire!
