Summer Note: There is no central A/C, but a portable 10,000 BTU A/C unit is
setup in the dining room/common area that cools and vents the warm air
outside.
Families or adults 25 year and older only. No parties or noisy activity
allowed as island has noise restrictions. Please note parking at local dock
near bridge are for local residents only with passes. Please note the house
is on a septic system: no grease or food down the drains, only toilet paper
in the toilets. Be mindful of steps to beach and bulkhead rock steps to water
as they get slippery when it has rained (hold onto rails or other boulders).
Note that shellfish on the shores around our island are not monitored by the
State for toxins and there have been cases of shellfish poisonings from
norovirus and vibrio found in oysters consumed off our beach.
**Do not eat oysters here but you can go to Taylor Shellfish Farms or
Minterbrook Oyster Company. During summer dry periods small fires in the
enclosed firepit on your beach is ok as long it does not produce sparks and
embers through the grates.**
Please note there is a motion-activated outdoor security camera located at the
NW corner of the garage. Recordings may or may not be reviewed and are deleted
after guest checkout. There is no access into the garage.
