Makuuhuoneessa toisella tasolla on mukava king-vuode ja viereinen kylpyhuone lattialämmöllä. Ylemmän tason makuuhuoneessa on maalaismainen, vuoristomökki, jossa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja viihtyisä loft-alue, josta on näkymät vuoristoon, queen-vuode ja vuode, joka nukkuu 2. Alemman tason makuuhuoneen sviitissä on 2 queen-size-vuodetta, oleskelualue, moderni sisustus ja oma kylpyhuone, jossa on lattialämmitys.

Talvikuukausina tarvitaan neljän pyörän tai kaikki pyörän moottoriajoneuvot, koska talvikuukausien sijainti ja mahdollinen lumisade ovat. Perhehuoneessa on takka, mutta siinä ei ole keskuslämmitystä. Lovely Scenic Getaway
This was a very interesting house, combining “old” and “new” in a quirky yet comfortable way. There seems to be a fly infestation which was a recurring issue throughout the stay. Upon arrival we had to vacuum up dozens of dead flies, & they kept reappearing, both dead and alive. Living room stereo CD cable is defective, distorting sound from speakers.

Beautiful view!
We loved the room this home has and separation. The huge recreation, music room with ping pong table was such a treat. The outside deck with BBQ and lots of hummingbirds was so pleasant to sit on. Kitchen had everything you need . We loved it! Needs a little plating but that didn’t bother us.

We had a great week
This was our first full-family vacation and we had a great time! There were lots of fun outdoor spaces and the view is fantastic. My only caution concerns the stairs, especially if you're bringing an elderly person (60+). The stairs (basement entry @ front door up to main level) are STEEP and have a shallow foot tread. We are all youngish and healthy and most of us tripped at least once. They were obviously built pre-building code requirements! Also, those stairs are the only way into the house for luggage, groceries, coolers, etc (unless you hike around the house and up a hill)- so it's a workout if you aren't used to the altitude! Overall, a small issue for us, but it was a concern.

Family Reunion
This was a great place to stay. I came here with my family for a family reunion. Perfect quiet house, excellent views, plenty of space to spread out and comfortably sleep 10. We watched movies, had dinners on the porch, and had ping pong tournaments. Also an easy launching point to local hikes, hot springs, hanging lakes, and downtown.

That View!!
The view is something out of a fairytale. There were deer standing near the driveway, hummingbirds all around the back deck, along with chipmunks, rabbits, and that incredible mountainin as your backdrop. We were also fortunate enough to experience a double rainbow from the deck on Mother's Day. House is also fantastic for large families. What a trip to remember.

Needs maintenance
We have stayed in this house before (2 years ago) and it has lovely views but it hasn't been maintained and needs work. Many things didn't work (door deadbolt, upstairs shower, the basement tub was taped together, fans and thermostats mostly don't work, oven partially works, coffee maker leaks water everywhere, tv remotes batteries are out, etc). It really needs the owner to stay in it and spend some time sorting out all the issues. We didn't receive the check in code either which was a hassle. Lovely location, hopefully the owner fixes it up.

Incredible
We had such an incredible stay at the property. The home layout was perfect for our family stay. The flex space was the ideal hang out spot for our 10 and 13 year old between skiing and snowmobiling at Sunlight. The views from the porch were absolutely stunning!!! Quick short drive to town for groceries and restaurants and shopping. We loved being right up close to deer and checking out all the animal tracks in the snow. Would love to stay again soon!!

It was our first time as a family to have everyone at the Thanksgiving table at the same time. House was perfect for the families who attended. Very well stocked and layout gave plenty of space for a large family gathering! Would rent again in the future.

Quiet mountain home
Very clean. Great place for our family of 4. We loved the hummingbirds and star gazing. We had a great time playing ping pong and reading vintage periodical. Close to town but secluded and quiet. Beautiful view from covered porch.

Secluded, Wildlife, Views!
A paved road leads to this older, very comfortable home on a hill. There were deer, fox, rabbits and chipmunks on the property. My bird app noted around 20 different kinds of birds, including four varieties of hummingbirds, which are constantly at the feeders. My wife and I took our daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons there for 4 days, 3 nights. The stairs inside are steep, but at over 70 we didn't have a problem. The boys loved the loft bedroom area and we were seldom up there. For July, the house stayed very cool with the upstairs A/C and the very powerful swamp cooler on the main level. We usually shut them off before bed and just opened some windows. The kitchen was well stocked but definitely needs more lighting. We solved the problem by moving a couple of lamps in there. The bathrooms and showers are more recently remodeled and were great. Plenty of hot water, even while we were all getting showers after the hot springs pool. The game/music room was great fun when we were home for the day. We enjoyed ping pong tournaments and karaoke. Hard to get the boys away from the Xbox at times! The deck was very relaxing, watching sunrises in the morning and the last rays of sunlight on Mt. Sopris in the evenings. Enjoyed breakfast at the outside table just off the deck. Would definitely book again.

Great Visit
We enjoyed our stay at Hilltop House. Getting our initial grocery run up the flight of stairs to main living area was a challenge. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed (coffee to get us started - nice). Recreation room was a big hit, drums, keyboard, games, ping pong, TV - grandkids loved it. Coffee in the morning on the deck with great views and hummingbirds was wonderful. Outdoor basketball and Tonka trucks . . . we had so much fun! Thank you Hilltop.

The listing stated that thee house slept 12 but some of the beds were not beds. There was a mattress in the space behind a bed that you had to crawl to. Another bed was just a box spring. Two of the “bedrooms” required you to walk through another room/hall to access the beds and/or bathroom. The kitchen so tiny that the cabinet can not be opened due to the oven door. The lower level smelled terrible. The stairs are very steep to access the main floor and the upper floor. The location, views and rec room were great.
