This provides miles of groomed trails, 10 min to Gravset skistadion with miles of groomed mountain tracks, floodlit at 3,5,8 km, 15 minutes by car to Hemsedal Ski, Norways most popular ski resort. Toboggan run and ski slope for children on the property.
It is a road until the cabin that is plowed all winter.

Hemsedal has many beautiful hiking tours for all levels. The hikes are well marked and signed.
We can offer 41 marked routes with fantastic views of the dramatic landscape. We can also offer you the "Topp 20" program. This program guides you to 20 different peaks in Hemsedal with altitudes between 804 m and 1920 m (the town centre is situated 625 meters above sea level).
Top 20 in Hemsedal are twenty marked and graded hikes to mountain peaks in Hemsedal.
The hikes vary in difficulty and length, from the easiest where baby strollers can be pushed, to steeper and more demanding hikes. The easiest hikes are well marked, while directions to the more demanding hikes are kept to a minimum. Hemsedal have a total of 210 km of marked hiking routes and peaks.

The narrow and spectacular Nærøyfjord is surrounded by steep mountains with snow covered tops that stretch up to 1800 meters above sea level. Water falls cascade down the mountains and picturesque villages dot the landscape.

Summer in Hemsedal is an anglers paradise, with long, fast-flowing rivers and numerous mountain lakes. The rivers and lakes are crystal clear and hold wild brown trout in their prime.
The main river in Hemsedal, Hemsila, is one of the best fly fishing rivers in Norway. A real challenge for the experienced fly fisher!
The season for fishing in Hemsedal is from 29 of May until 20 September. The Hemsila and Grøndøla rivers are two of Norway’s best trout rivers.

HEMSEDAL Golf Alpin
Hemsedal Golf Resort is located on the border between Gol and Hemsedal, on route 52, 17 km from Hemsedal and 15 km from Gol.

It is the only 18 holes golf course in the regions Hallingdal, Valdres and Nore and Uvdal, and a multi venue for hiking, biking and also a starting point for skiing in winter.
The terrain and the climate are kinder than in the typical high mountains of Hemsedal. The Golf Resort is surrounded by beautifully high pine trees, picturesque lakes and swamps, which make it an exciting golf course.

Hemsedal is an excellent starting point for many good cycle trips.
The routes are varied and run through beautiful nature with wild, majestic mountains and vigorous valley parts.
The 21 graded and signed routes, offers challenges for any level, from easy and short trips to demanding day tours.
At Hemsedal Ski Centre you can take a chair lift up to 1100 m.a.s.l. and try the fun down hill park or bike further into the mountains. On the top of the chair lift, you can also have a break at Fjellkafeen for a nice waffel and something to drink.
Hemsedal has a good bike rental with downhill bikes, mountain bikes and tour bikes.

Hemsedal Skisenter has slopes with great variation in difficulty. Here, both children and adults, experienced and beginners will have enjoyable days skiing. Hemsedal has several different venues such as snow parks, skating rink, racing arena and play area for fun for the whole family.

Hemsedal has winter Norways highest groomed slopes with Totten at 1450 meters above sea level, Hamaren at 1349 meters and Roni at 1250 meters.

Enjoy 120 km machine-groomed trails through the valleys and forests of Hemsedal, and 90 km marked mountain trails.
From most apartments and cabins in the valley you can enter straight on to groomed tracks.

Trails in the mountains are marked and groomed with the use of a snow mobile in weekends and holidays.
