Clean comfortable rooms

Hotel was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use any other services and were out most of the days. Rooms didn’t provide daily room house keeping though.

Good quiet stay, with friendly staff, undercover parking and clean accommodation. Short walk to transport for easy access to Surfers Paradise, etc. Area is also easy walk to shops in Dendy Cinema complex with a variety of dining options. Must be able to navigate some steps to rooms, as no lift available.

Staff were very helpful and accomodating. 2-3min walk to trams. Huge bonus of the 50 cent rides, which made travel so easy, and also not having to purchase a travel card. Having a gym less than a 5min walk was a huge bonus. Surfers Paradise an easy tram ride, with the cheap tram fares we would go back and forward to our accommodation. Self catering apartment had all we needed and more, plenty of cuttlery, plates, ice tray in freezer etc. Worked out perfect for us, and was nice at the end of the night to be away from the busier spots.

Excellent staff front desk and housekeeping. Our room Number 14, was spotless. The only reason i didn't give a 5 is the bedroom wall doesnt go all the way to the ceiling so if you go to bed and someone is up watching tv, making coffee whatever, its noisy. I would stay there again though.

A great location, lovely pool, and so close to the light rail you won’t take your car anywhere unless you’re going away from the Gold Coast. No elevator, but the stairs are easy to use and well lit. Staff were fabulous, we very much enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Great human service, easy parking.

Just rock up to reception and get your key, I love good old fashioned Motels and this is a good one, everything you need is in the room, it has an on site laundry. Great pool & BBQ area, I love that easy Motel parking that is just a few steps from your room. Privacy, parking, personal human service, all the things you commonly don’t get with an Airbnb room. When I’m working away from home, places like these take the stress out the trip, you know what your going to get. Good Motels like this one are always my first choice when I’m working away from home.

There was no room service, bed sheet change once in a week, no vacuum of the room during out stay (we stayed 4 nights) , we had ask towel and take our dirty dishes downstair for washing.

Stayed in hotel section and didn’t realise that the room was not serviced daily so my wet towels were not replaced when we returned for the day. Other then that it is a very good hotel for medical clinics and the best iga I have ever been too is across the road from the tram stop only 2mins from the hotel.

We did enjoyed our 13 day stay very much. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable, modern and new. Great location, close to public transport/tram and a mall across the road so we could just walk across the road to get groceries. Very convenient. There was very little traffic noise so that was great but after a few days there, some other guests that had arrived were quite noisy either yelling down to each other in the stairwell, slamming doors or just bring loud in the stairwell sometimes early in the morning and late at night - which was a let down especially if we were woken by it. Not anything caused by Southport Motel and Apartments - just down to inconsiderate people!! I thought it was worth a mention. Onsite undercover parking which was great and very close to our room, very handy. I would highly recommend Southport Motel and Apartments. Wonderful staff and complex, beautiful pool and bbq area, clean rooms and safe. Ticked all of our boxes ❤️👍 Happy New Year to all the staff Thank you
