Hyvin hoidettu järven etuosa Egyptin järvellä. Katso veneet katetusta kannesta, jota ympäröivät kypsät puiden varjot. Nauti järvestä, jossa on kaksi veneen lipsahdettua telakkaa. Kalaa ja uida heti telakkaasi. Illalla paistetaan vaahtokarkkeja palo kuoppaan upealla näköalalla järvelle. Sisällä voit nauttia valtavasta aurinkotilasta, jossa on kaasutakka ja avata / syödä keittiössä. Hotellissa on upea 155 jalka rip / rap rantaviivaa. Koe järvielämää parhaimmillaan kun rentoudut ja nauti upeista näkymistä kannellesi tai auringon huoneeseesi. Kolme venesatamaa palvelevat järveä, jossa viikoittainen viihde viettää ankkuriasi ja nauti. Lähellä viinitarjot ja useita valtion puistoja, se on todella lomailijan unelma. Tule näkemään ja kokeilemaan kalastusta, uintia, veneilyä ja rentoutumista tässä mahtavassa kodissa.

Huoneistossa on kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa on queen-size-vuode, yksi makuuhuone kahdella / koko kerrossängyllä sekä vyöryä ja ulosvedettävä sohva, jossa on täysikokoinen vuode. Ilmapatjat ovat tervetulleita (mutta älä ylitä 10 henkilöä).

Lisäksi siellä on blacktop, hevosenkengän ajotieltä!
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Shawnee National Forest. Mökissä tarjoaa ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Cabin Getaway
Had an amazing time exploring the parks and forests the region had to offer. That said, the cabin served as a wonderful launching point for our adventures and the property checked every box we could have asked for. Whether it was s'mores at sunset or watching the sunrise over the lake, the cabin helped make amazing memories for the kids and grown ups alike!

Winter get-away!
We loved this winter get-away; off-season is a great time to explore and hike. We also kayaked and did a polar plunge off the boat dock! (They have a ladder, which helps for chilled adventurers). The kitchen is well equipped, and we baked & cooked extensively. Huge fridge/freezer, so you can pack in all your meals (eat at Walt’s Pizza in Marion. Superb). Hosts we responsive, brought over firewood upon request; they have skewers, so bring hot dogs & S’Mores. We will return again!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at a property owned by Heather and Jeff. 1st time was at Eagles Nest, and while names were familiar it was the business card that confirmed this. (I've now saved their 3rd property to my wish list.) Place was perfect for us, very clean and comfortable. No problem with anything. Loved the light switch labels. Beds were very comfortable. Even enjoyed some time outside on the cool November weekend.

Great clean house, very peaceful settimg
House was clean and well stocked with towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, etc. very quiet and peaceful. As others have said a lot of stairs to dock. Would go back. Things to note : jetted tub doesn’t work/leaks so there’s only showers and horseshoe drive would hold several cars but you can’t get around each other.

Great Cabin with Beautiful views!
We stayed in this cabin on the lake hoping to fish, relax and enjoy southern Illinois fall colors, wine trail and Shawnee National Forest. The cabin was beautiful and everything we expected. The neighborhood was the only downfall as it was a maze to get to the property and had to do a lot of careful driving on short, curvy, bumpy and hilly roads to get to the cabin within the neighborhood. Only other forewarning is that there are many steps to get down to the dock and back up. Totally worth it though and great property, would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful. Nice centralized spot for climbers
We chose this place for it's awesome location between all the great climbing areas, the lake view, and room for all the kids. It's no more than 45 mins from all the great climbing spots: Gaint City, Ferne, Holy Boulders, and Jackson. Lake Egypt is very quite. Beautiful in the fall. Hoping to come back in the spring for our next family climbing trip.

Great fall break escape
Enjoyed the view of the lake from the cabin. Had all the amenities we needed inside plus we used the kayaks, fire pit & fished off the dock outside. Drove 1/2 hour to beautiful blue sky winery for an afternoon & visited ferne clyffe park 15mins away for a short hike before we headed home. Had an absolutely beautiful weekend.

What a fabulous place. This was our annual girl's weekend. Wanted to try new place, We were so lucky, everything was absolutely spotless. The property owners were amazing. Perfect Wine Trail Lake House
Great place on Lake of Egypt. Close to wine trail and hiking. Jeff was fantastic to work with and even took us out for a sunset pontoon ride. Great stay! We will be back!

Awesome weekend on the lake!!!
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Heather and Jeff’s lake house! Heather is so easy to communicate with and we even had the pleasure of meeting them when they came over to show us how to use the boat. Great people! We had the best weekend with our family and friends. The house had everything we needed and more! We loved hanging out of the deck and swimming off of the dock. Our kids caught so many fish and turtles. They had a blast. The lake is absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!!

The rooms are nice and large and the main area is huge with great lake views from the large windows and doors in the sun room. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Would definitely return.
