Lakeland Caravan Retreat in Grange-over-Sands

Discover this beautiful 39-foot caravan sited on a lovely quiet newly built section of Haven Lakeland Leisure Park. Situated in Flookburgh near the beautiful town of Grange Over Sands on the edge of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria.

Our caravan has everything you would expect for a great break. It is sited just behind the sites 9-hole golf course and within easy access of all the excellent sites facilities. Whether you choose to take part in some of the sites many activities or just sit out on the deck with a glass of wine enjoying the fresh sea air and looking out to the lake beyond.

Whist stopping with us choose to either stay on site or explore the lakes beaches beyond. The site has a restaurant, chip shop, Papa John’s Pizza, an arcade, Marina entertainment lounge and a well-stocked mini supermarket. It also boasts bike hire, indoor and outdoor pools, archery, climbing activities and a water sports centre. Or just take a stroll around the site, explore the sea walls situated only a few minutes’ walk from the caravan, watch the local parachuting club coming into land or take in the wildlife and nature the park has. If you decide to venture beyond the site there is plenty to do within easy drive such as Windermere, Coniston, Ulverston, the historic city of Lancaster and Morecambe.

As a self-catering caravan, you'll find everything you need for a great stay.
It is the perfect place to relax and unwind offering a living area containing settee, 45" smart television, DVD, Bluetooth HiFi and internet access, dining area, fully equipped kitchen. 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 8. Along with 2 bathrooms to ease the queues. It also benefits from central heating, double glazing and mains fed gas, electric and water so no worrying about getting bottles changed over or running out.

We are pet friendly. Up to 2 of your well-behaved furry friends can join in the memory making.

The caravan itself has 3 bedrooms one entry you are into the diner kitchen which comprises everything you should need. With fan oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, air fryer and slow cooker. There is also a dining table and highchair if required.

In the living room there is a large settee containing a pull-out double bed. 45” smart tv, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, radio, coffee table and board games.

Through the living room is a patio door leading onto an enclosed deck with patio furniture where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst taking in the views over the lake beyond or just enjoy the local wildlife.

In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table and a 22” smart tv. The sockets also incorporate usb ports. A travel cot is available if needed.

In the next bedroom, there are 2 single beds, a wardrobe, bedside table and a 22” smart tv.

The third bedroom also contains 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside table and a 22” smart tv.

There are 2 bathrooms. The first bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.The second bathroom has a toilet and sink.

Linen is included to make your stay more enjoyable. But please bring your own towels.

The site has an adventure trail which brings the countryside to life. Challenging and mysterious, it unlocks the beauty of the surroundings and its wildlife perfectly. Or venture out of the park and onto the nearby coastal path to take in the stunning views and sunsets.

Please note.
The site opens on a restricted basis between Halloween and Easter although the site itself is open the facilities may not be hence the lower price. But don’t despair the village of Flookburgh has a bakery, chippy, excellent pubs and shops. Also, Grange Over Sands has a great range of pubs, shops and cafes to service your needs.
Play passes are required to access some of the site’s activities but you don’t have to purchase them if you are not looking to use those facilities. The passes are not included with the caravan booking but can be purchased through Haven once the caravan is booked.
