Wonderful Cabin in Greentown, Pa

This very secluded cabin is nestled in the woods about 5 minutes drive from Promised Land State Park in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. The cabin was furnished in 2022. The master king bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and ROKU TV. The second king bedroom shares a full hallway bathroom with the twin/ twin bunk room. This cozy home is heated and cooled by individual split units; the living room and master bedroom also have ceiling fans. Enjoy your morning coffee seated on the rocking chairs on the covered front porch. The rear deck has a propane grill and a picnic table with benches. The fire pit area has poly adirondack chairs and Edison lights around its perimeter. The living room has a beautiful electric fireplace insert and comfortable seating as well as a large flatscreen television. Wi-Fi functions well for TV and cell service. Prepare meals in the nicely equipped kitchen with a toaster and both pod type and drip coffee makers. The dining table seats six. Brand new full sized refrigerator and stove in 2023. This is a convenient location for Promised Land State Park, Skytop adventure park, Lake Wallenpaupack, dining, antique hunting, adventure/water parks, wineries and much more. We have provided DVD’s with player, books, games and puzzles along with a smart TV in the living room with ROKU and fast, free Wi-Fi. There is a full-sized washer and dryer available for your use at no additional charge. We provide sheets, pillows, quilts (and an extra blanket) for each bed as well as towels for showering. We include starter toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap and a few basic cleaning supplies, trash bags, new dish sponge for each rental. We are fully inspected and permitted annually by the local township. No parties and no loud noise permitted. We have installed motion- activated security cameras at the front and rear entrances as well as motion lights to illuminate the parking area near the front porch.

This was our 4th time staying at this cabin. Again just a fantastic experience! Immaculately clean. Beautiful setting in the woods. Just everything you need to have a fun, relaxing time away in a gorgeous setting.

Lovely little cabin
We loved how secluded the cabin was. The fire ring with the adirondack chairs was a plus. And the rocking chairs on the front porch is a great place to have a cup of coffee and listen to nature. We saw 2 deer one morning and jst our luck, the weather was great.

Cabin getaway
Cabin was clean and well maintained. We loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the fire pit out back. Enjoyed watching the wildlife that we saw every day of our stay. We saw deer, turkey and even a bear. I could of done without seeing the snake on our first day!!

peaceful & Beautiful Cabin in the Woods!
My husband and I loved the cabin the minute we pulled up. The cabin surrounded by woods was just what we needed. peaceful and serene. The inside of the cabin was very cozy, comfortable and clean. The chairs on porch were great for having our morning coffee and the fire pit was awesome. We will definitely book this cabin again.

Perfect getaway
The cabin was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. We felt very at home there and sad we had to leave. My daughters loved searching for salamanders, frogs and loved seeing the doe and her fawns every evening. I saw a fox just trot right down the road like he had someone to visit. My favorite part of the cabin is the rocking chairs on the porch. Unfortunately I got sick the last day and did not add to the cute little guests memory book by the door but hopefully will be able to in the future. Love the cabin. Dont change a thing.

Relaxation in the woods
Again, we had a wonderful time at the cabin in the woods. The cabin is always immaculately clean and well equipped with all we need to stay for the week. We saw many deer, even a lot of fawns, took in the beauty of nature and greatly enjoyed time spent reading on the front porch, and time around the fire pit. Many new additions to the cabin this year added to the charm. This is our favorite vacation spot. Will very likely go again in the fall.

Beautiful cabin in the middle of nature
I stayed at the cabin with my elderly parents. It was a week of visiting friends and family, and coming back to the cabin was a nice end to the day. The cabin was very clean and neat and comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and Rhonda was very responsive to any questions I had. Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin!

Great to be comfortably out in nature
Excellent. We appreciated the quiet, with nature watching from the porch and dark nights. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and all the basics for cooking were there. It was close to birding and hiking in the area.

Cabin uses well water, which can be discolored at initial use. Once we let it run several times it cleared up.You may want to bring bottled water initially. This was a minor issue and the rest of the stay was peaceful and quiet.

Cabin in the Woods
The cabin was quaint and easy to find. The pictures online are taken in full summer, so it was a little surprising to see such barren surroundings at the end of winter with bare trees. The heating worked well which was great as it was very cold. We knew there was a kitchen but on starting to cook, we discovered mouse droppings in the cutlery drawer and chewed up paper towels under the sink. The owner responded immediately and was very apologetic. Nature had its way that night and in the morning fallen trees had taken out a power line. Once again, the owner was very understanding and offered a refund if we wanted to leave. We didn’t leave as the house served our needs. However, that night, after a day of rain, the sub pump ran all night. The pump runs under the house and the bedrooms are right next to it. If you come in the summer when the weather is good, I am sure this cabin will be a haven of delight. It would be helpful to have pictures of the cabin in different seasons so expectations are set before arrival.

Rest & Relaxation Required
Wooded Vista from the south facing porch was fabulous . With no leaves in Feb . the sun warmed the porch making morning coffee a treat . Just enough snow to make it a winter wonderland . A quick snow removal from the rear firepit and Adirondack chairs made roasting marshmallows special . Plenty of fire-starting windfall kindling around and for sale firewood at Dutches grocery. As listed , Good heat , good quiet time , great stay . Brought SiriusXM portable radio with us for good music. TV & WI-FI worked perfectly also.
