Located minutes from downtown Greenville, the Swamp Rabbit Trail, Furman University, and Travelers Rest, this beautifully furnished & fully renovated, 2BR/2BA home will make your stay in the upstate of SC truly special.

A little bit of background...Cottage Haven is a result of a family dream...as we traveled, we were often frustrated and always thought of things we would do to make a space better for visitors. So when the opportunity arose for us to purchase and renovate this cute little house, we jumped in all the way. One of our sons does remodeling, one installed hardwood floors, our daughter is an Interior Designer, and I (Chris) have a local cleaning service- after a year and a half, we were ready for our first guests.
Now our goal is to make every guest feel like they're the first to stay. When we say "fully stocked", we mean that we provide little things to make your time with us more comfortable, we pay close attention to detail, and we strive to keep all things in 'like new' condition.
*An additional note:
Some guests have mentioned that the neighborhood is a bit “run down”. It is definitely a lower middle class area, but many of the neighbors have been in residence for decades (including those on either side of CH- in fact, Ms Margaret has lived in the same house next door since the 1960’s!) ) and they do upkeep their yards and homes and look out for one another. We have come to know several of the neighbors and have always felt safe, even late at night. While some homes a block or two away are not as well kept, there are also a few new homes being built (Greenville is growing rapidly). Additionally, there is a street lamp on the edge of our property so it well-lit at night.
So please come and enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious covered deck off the kitchen overlooking the large, fenced-in back yard. Or relax with friends & family around the fire pit or under the ambient lighting that surrounds the deck roof.
In consideration for all of our guests, the home is a non-smoking space and pet-free.

Cottage cozy
The property was super cute with more supplies provided than any other place we have stayed. We brought a lot of our own stuff but didn't even have to unpack a lot of it. Neat clean and well decorated. Chris and Thomas were friendly and helpful and the WiFi problem we had was handled to our satisfaction. The only pause we had is that the area was not what we were use to but was fine.

A Wonderful Place
Immaculate - above and beyond clean. Thoughtful - The hosts have gone out of their way to ensure you have more than enough for a lovely stay. After a nine hour drive, arriving here was nicer than arriving home. The home was spotless with snacks on the counter and cool drinks in the fridge. It's as if they knew we would have a travel weary 7 year old and were ready for us. There are other small touches throughout that made you feel like you were staying with someone who cared. When we arrived at our next stop, we sorely missed this place and wanted to return. It was such a blessing to stay here.

Absolutely loved it!
My husband and I stayed here at the Cottage Haven and our first impression was.. "Wow, such a cute cottage!" It felt very homey, cozy and inviting. The cottage was very clean, we loved the furniture and the way every room was decorated. I especially loved the smelling scent in the guest bathroom, I didn't catch a name on the bottle but I'll always remember that smell and should I ever run into again, I'll remember this cozy cottage! You can tell that Chris and Tom thought of everything for their guests and it really showed. We felt like we were staying with family. We also really liked that it was within 5 minutes of downtown GV which made for an easy travel to and from the cottage. Communicating with Chris and Tom was delightful, they made sure we got in okay and that all was good. I'd absolutely recommend this sweet cottage to anyone visiting Greenville!

Lovely stay!
We really enjoyed staying here! Great for a family, roomy, homey, quick communication with the host. It was so well stocked for every need, especially the kitchen - seriously, three types of coffee makers for however you make it (btw check out Due South nearby!) A very quiet neighborhood and less than 10 minutes to downtown. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Swamp Rabbit Hop Skip & Jump
This property was even better than we expected! We gathered here as our home base for a half marathon race on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It had all the comforts of home and then some. It was so comfy and cozy. And a special treat was how close it is to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery. We were able to walk over and enjoy a sunny afternoon on their courtyard. The hosts were extremely helpful with all our questions prior to arrival and made sure the check in and check out processes were so smooth. I would highly recommend this rental!

Greenville Getaway
Had a beautiful and restful getaway with friend at Cottage Haven. Home was beautifully done inside and out. Home had everything we needed for our stay. Home host made contact with us and let us know if we needed anything to let her know. We never needed a thing all was great. The cottage was comfortable and cozy. My friend and I left feeling refreshed. Oasis in a Crazy World
The cottage was amazing!. It was the perfect combination of elegance and comfort. All of our needs were anticipated and met, down to the very last detail. It was like a sanctuary, set apart from our normally chaotic, stressful world. My daughter and I travel a lot and have agreed that this was probably the nicest place we've ever stayed. Christine and Thomas were wonderful. It was our first time in the area and they were always there to answer questions or provide directions and recommendations. Well appointed property
We were able to ride our bikes to the Swamp Rabbit Trail from the house and it was a short Lyft ride to the Peace Center fro a show. The covered deck was nice for breakfast in the morning since the weather was so nice. The home was very clean and updated and perfect for our party of four.

Cozy cottage visit
My husband and I came to Greenville to visit our adult children and welcome a new grandchild! We loved our stay at this very cute, clean, and well appointed cottage. The owners really thought of everything! The house has been updated and everything is so well done and decorated perfectly. There were welcome snacks and drinks, toiletries, great consideration of electronics and charging spaces. The king bed was very comfortable-the hosts were easy to contact and prompt in replies. We were able to cook food to take to the new baby family. The house was close to everything we needed to visit! Thank you for a job well done!

Home away from home
My daughter just had her first baby and this house made it so easy to come stay and help her out. The house is so cute and my son loved the tv in the living room, which was great because I could still hang out and be a part of things while I cooked in the very well appointed kitchen! There was plenty of room to have my daughter and her husband over for dinner and games during the week! Beautiful backyard and deck for outdoor dining. Super clean! We will definitely be back :)

Super Clean, Newly Renovated - Fabulous Friend Getaway - near bike trail
This was a fabulous house, accommodations were superb! SUPER Clean house! Had coffee/tea supplies and a sweet snack items in a bowl upon arrive. The details of the linens, the 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms were great space! Comfy everything. Great living and hang place. We loved sitting on the back covered porch and eat our meals. Enjoyed the birds singing. House had games and great books to read. We cooked our dinners - had lots of pots and pans, utensils, (seriously - all was there to cook) and relax! The host was super! Encouraging and welcoming from the beginning! Answered any questions very quickly. Swamp Rabbit Bike Trail only .6 miles to the trail. Just go through the neighborhood roads to bridge and hop on the trail. House has great driveway to park your car and bike all weekend. Great landscape to make the house welcoming and inviting!

Fabulous Home!
We so enjoyed our stay at this home. It is designed beautifully, super clean and has so many extra amenities like free coffee, water, soda, and plenty of bathroom supplies. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owners were very good at communication as well.
