The best thing about this hotel is the staff, from check in to Stephen at hideaway bar and the exceptional service we received from Tracy ford. But the hotel,is rundown with broken tiles and rust every where. The absolute worst thing though was the smell of mould in the rooms, it made us gag on entry, we had no choice but to sleep in that glad it was only a short visit and wouldn’t go again just for that reason alone. Also paid a extra $120 for a lobster meal that was very under par over cooked and over seasoned

Everything was fine. However, I think the pool bars close too early. I also don't like the fact that the children from the neighboring resort were on the adult side in our pool and beach with their parents. It happened everyday that I was there on vacation. They were actually in my pictures swimming in.the beach. The resort needs to prevent this from happening.

The staff was not pleasant, they always had attitudes. Not friendly. Had an issue with my payment to the hotel. They would not accept my pre-payment right along with my direct payment which caused me to come out of pocket for a lot of money. Was not understanding at all. I felt like they were going to keep me and make me a maid and my husband a butler. I do not think I would ever come back to this place

Not a 5 star Resort!!!!
I would stay away from this hotel as it was the worst experience I've had with a resort ever in my life! My friends and I booked this resort to celebrate our July 2024 birthdays. I had several room issues that they refused to accommodate. The first issue was that they mixed up my friend's room and mine, which we had booked separately. So my wristband opened their room and vice versa. Then, I was given an uncleaned, moldy-smelling room, which they refused to swap. Pamela, the supervisor who checked my party in, stated that she had nothing available, which was a lie. The next day, the GM provided me with a suitable room, but this was after going back and forth with Pamela all day. Next, we informed the hotel that we were celebrating birthdays. We observed how other hotel guests had their doors decorated, but not a card or bottle of wine was in either of our rooms, and we practically had to beg for birthday acknowledgment. Besides the room issue, the food at several restaurants could have been better prepared, lacked flavor, and didn't use fresh ingredients. Also, I observed the Royalton staff members taking big plates of food (poolside), leaving the paying guests without food. The drinks at the resorts were HORRIBLE. The drinks at the resorts made everyone in our party sick. The liquor was cheap and disgusting. Several times, the restaurants ran out of condiments and didn't serve food listed as specials on particular days.

Visited with my family. The property is beautiful with well manicured grounds. However our check in was poor since we had yo wait for over 2 hours for the room to be ready. The room keys didn't work after dinner and we hed to get them reprogrammed.

Beautiful resort. The staff was very friendly and happy to assist us in anyway they could. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and made sure 2 issues we had were handled in a timely manner. However, I did not like the food options. There were lots of fruit flies and actual flies in the buffet hall.

The floors had animals feces for days. The staff were very rude and not helpful. We was not told that we had to be off premises after 5 PM or we would be charged. The worst is the staff really wasn’t friendly or accommodating at all and I was celebrating my birthday. No banner at the door, but other people did have them.

The facility needs to be updated. The toilet was clogged when I got my room. My friends room the lights went out and they had no water for a day. The food was hit or miss. The facility have been better for the money we paid.
