We had a great vacation time staying it this immaculate well-appointed place. What a gem it is! A couple of short blocks to a long stretch of pristine groomed beaches and a boat launch, a short car drive to exciting Biloxi or Gulfport attractions and restaurants. With our dog, we had explored several hiking trails and dog friendly beaches of neighboring Hancock and Jackson counties. This property lies in Harrison county where dogs are officially not allowed on beaches, even though we saw some. At Solemar, we enjoyed relaxing at night watching movies and having a breakfast on the back porch watching the Gulf and new home construction in progress. With a railroad and a runway being nearby, be prepared for some train and airplane noise which is mostly infrequent and unobtrusive, and easy to get accustomed to. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, the house and beds very comfortable and the host extremely accommodating. We had everything we needed for a perfect early March vacation, including the weather, although a blender availability would be nice. Consider yourselves lucky being able to stay at the beautiful Solemar. We will surely return at our earliest opportunity.
