We had to go through several doors to get it and the restaurant was closed. The tv didn't work and had to call staff at the pub.to.solve it.
The stay was loud, and the alarm kept going off with the tradies showering after a night of wine and sex (we could hear them) . The steam kept triggering the alarm and my kids were startled at 5:30am with a very loud noise. Elderly people staying there were also frightened. Had to open the emergency door to the stairs to let our the steam. Alarm was horrible. The porch was bouncy and dirty with bird poop. The water faucet was rusty and the water smelled like iron. The stairs was challenging to drag suitcases around and the room was bareable. Carpetist have been dusty because of my allergies I kept sneezing. Assuming the building was wild but could use a renovation.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We are in our seventies and room was up 2 seep staircases.
The room was clean, it was roomy with 2 single beds, air/con, fridge, kettle tea and coffee,
The room was very close to the shared men and women's bathroom's, they were just at our room door, if it hadn't been for a quite night as far as other guests, we would have had a sleepless night.
We are caravanners and don't require frills and spills, we were lucky.

This was a very comfortable and clean room. As with most pub accommodation, the bathrooms were shared, but that was not a problem as they were near to the room and very clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Quiet clean budget room with comfy bed. Shared bathroom clean and good hot shower. Meets the needs if you are after secure and clean budget accommodation.
Old school type of hotel that's a throwback to a bygone era but still nicey kept. Had a very pleasant overnight stay while in town. Very close to The Prince of Wales Hotel (where check in took place) where you could get a good meal.
description deceiving it said 2 bathrooms 1 shared bathroom it was shared across a shared hallway lounge and dining Room nothing like pics was under staircase so heard everything creak and noise from above Old floorboards left without staying 2nd night hated it
