This cruise ship's 1-night, 2-day itinerary includes the following: 1st Day (Hanoi to Bai Tu Long Bay): Check-in at Ancora Lounge at Sun Group Harbour by noon. Embarkation 12:30-1 PM. Cruise toward Bai Tu Long Bay, while having buffet lunch. From 3:30-4:45 PM, explore Vung Vieng floating village via row boat or kayak. Return to boat at 5 PM for optional evening activities, including spa, sunbathing, or beverage at the bar. Anchor at Cong Do for overnight. Cooking demonstration on the sundeck or restaurant at 6:40 PM. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:30. Evening activities include night fishing, spa services, drink service, or relaxation on the deck. Last day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, visit Thienh Canh Son Cave. After check-out by 9 AM, brunch is served while the boat returns to Sun Group Harbor for disembarkation by 11 AM. The 2-night, 3-day itinerary includes the above, as well as the following: 2nd Day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, transfer to a day boat to explore the Cong Dam area’s beaches by kayak or swimming. Return to boat for set menu lunch. At 3:30 PM, return to Ancora boat and views of sunset over Halong Bay. Cooking demonstration on the sundeck or restaurant at 6:30 PM. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:30-9 PM. Last day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, visit Thienh Canh Son Cave. After check-out by 9:30 AM, brunch is served while the boat returns to Sun Group Harbor for disembarkation by 11 AM. Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels, and operating conditions without prior notice. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.
Guests must contact the cruise office 24 hours in advance of arrival with their passport information, birthday, and Visa expiry details to register with the Halong Bay Port Authority. A valid passport is required for all guests and must be presented at time of boarding. Children must board with their parents. Guests who are denied boarding for not presenting valid passports for inspection by police and port authorities will not receive refunds. AMAZING cruise in Ha Long Bay! The staff was incredibly welcoming, accommodating and always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our room was very comfortable with an incredible view! Definitely recommend!

Total Scam

Do not book with this company, it is a scam. I travelled to Ha Long bay to be told there is no cruise. Ancora refuse to give me a refund and Hotels.com cannot or will not help. I have been using Hotels.com for many years both business and please, they have lost my custom.

We did the two night cruise, the food was really good, had a lovely spacious room with large balcony and the staff were very attentive. However, would have preferred a more relaxed programme as there seemed to be a lot of activities to get through but that is perhaps a personal preference. Although we enjoyed the cruise we were on, it wasn’t the cruise we had booked, they changed us to another ship with a different itinerary without consulting us.

We got transferred to ancorna sister cruse Dynasty cruise. These were some of the best meals weve had in vietnam, the trip was well put together with cave tours and kayaking. Highly recommended!

It's a new hotel. We got upgraded to the deluxe room. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is good with Vietnamese and western food. Staff are very friendly and courteous, nothing is too much, we wanted to have massage and the hotel staff drove us there free of charge. They also arranged shuttle bus to Hanoi for us. There was an electrical problem that caused the power in the room to go off and on several times at night of our stay, they fix the problem reasonably fast and couldn't apologize enough for the trouble.

We arrived and checkin was good, our room was great with large tub. The food was same for both days - not very tasty - lacked seasoning. breakfast was buffet, lunch they serve and dinner buffet again. boring food. we did the events which was great, it is a nice boat. I would do it again

Beautiful stay

Ancora has really beautiful ship with beautiful room. Hanging out at the balcony, dipping in the jacuzzi bathtub or just chilling on the bed, you will always see the beautiful Halong Bay from your room. The shuttle bus was on time and the overall staff's helpfulness is great. The activities are standard and you can opt out. The food is average but I was there for the experience, not the food.

Tour was well organised. It was rescheduled due to an event but Marshall from their office was good to WhatsApp and kept me updated of changes. Food served was awesome and they took care of my dietary needs.

Good stay on Ancora.

Jason was amazing. Assistant manager wasn't so great. Pros, bath tub, ship cleanliness, and staff service. Cons - no upgrade to rooms as stipulated on confirmation email. Bathroom shower wouldn't drain and flooded. A confirmation of a seafood BBQ wasn't delivered. Assistant manager didn't do much to assist in my personal opinion.

The boat was new and clean. Staff was lovely. Food wasn’t great. And I felt rushed trying to get to all of the activities and not well informed what exactly they weee. Perhaps I should have done more research before. Wi-Fi was also slow but that was expected

Magnificent Ha Long Bay Experience

Outstanding, cannot imagine how anything could be better. Attention to finer detail in regard to food, service and guest comfort is given the staff's highest priority. The opportunity to go further into Ha Long Bay to access quieter, less populated areas is one of the highlights of staying the extra day and night. Highly recommend Ancora Cruises to anyone planning a trip to Ha Long Bay

Wow and I mean WOW!!

I really haven’t got the words to say how amazing this cruise was. We were made to feel like the most important people on the boat but in fact they did this to every passenger on there. We booked the 2/3 day package and to get that extra night to relax in the bath jacuzzi, while in one of the most stunning places I have ever been, priceless! This was really luxury and by far the best boat in the sea. No boat I saw was half as good. People would pass our boat on the rundown 3* boats and would take pictures of our boat. Pay the extra and have a time you will remember forever or go on the 3* and be looking at our boat and be wishing you booked the little more expensive boat. Thank you to all the staff for making this such a special memory.

Great experience

Very well organised trip. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We had a family room with a lovely front view. The food was fantastic. The only problem was we had mosquitoes in the room and luckily we brought a mosquito repellent spray but I could here them buzzing and had an uncomfortable night sleep. Everything else was perfect. It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it.
