Loved my stay once I figured out the instructions which I found very confusing ... The suite was absolutely charming, bright ... with everything I needed. I did have two problems: being elderly with a challenge doing stairs, I thought I had booked a second floor unit so was surprised when it was actually on the third floor; I also found the bed placement somewhat difficult to manage. That said, I've already booked my next visit! Thank you.

Such a great location - some of Halifax’s best restaurants are in the area. The rooms are smartly laid out with every comfort you need. It was quiet and clean and as always a wonderful stay.

Not so great

The room was clean and comfortable. However, getting into the outer door and room door was a PITA! After several phone calls and code changes we finally gained access to our room, only to find it was already occupied! After more phone calls we were given another room. It was clean and comfortable but VERY hot! We were unable to adjust the temperature so had to open all the windows to be able to sleep, which resulted in lots of street noise.

This is a smart hotel with limited staff, but well organized, thoughtful rooms. The rooms at the back in particular are very nice because they’re away from the traffic of the front facing rooms. The staff were very helpful despite a couple of small problems (one of which was my fault), and we would be happy to come back here again.

I loved the hotel! Easy self check-in process, had all the amenities we needed and close by to a lot of different shops, breweries and restaurants! One thing for them to work on is responsiveness, I’ve asked for an early check-in, but did not receive a response through their text message service. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay here!
