Are you looking to escape everyday life? Look no further than Hardwicke Hideaway! Gorgeous, freshly renovated, modern 2-bedroom house that is a short walk to the beach.
Relax in front of the fireplace (BYO wood) and admire our original antique fishing reel wall.
Hardwicke Hideaway has a fabulous outdoor deck, where you can cook up a storm on the BBQ, dine al fresco, or just chill and read a book on the outdoor lounge setting.
Both bedrooms are well-appointed with high-quality beds and linen.
Hardwicke Hideaway has a fully enclosed backyard and pets are welcome! Plenty of parking for cars and boats.
Hardwicke Bay is a lovely fishing village located on the Yorke Peninsula.
Hardwicke Hideaway is the perfect location from which to explore the Yorke Peninsula or enjoy all of which Hardwicke Bay has to offer.
Beachcombing, fishing, swimming, and exploring are all on offer.

Perfect, as always!
This was the second time we’ve stayed here, and once again we loved it. We love being able to take our dogs away with us for a relaxing break over Christmas, and this is the perfect place for that. The property is wonderful, extremely clean and well kept. It has everything we could possibly want or need. We can’t wait for next year!

Perfect Holiday on the Yorke
This is such a beautifully appointed home at a great location. It’s only a short drive to nearby towns like Point Turton and Minlaton. It was great to be able to stay in a clean, comfortable and pet friendly home. We loved the fireplace! We had such a great family getaway. We will definitely be back!!

Very clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Nice renovations and set up and warm over our winter stay. Big yard but no grass/dirt for the dogs to walk on unfortunately. Also a fantastically comfortable bed, thanks!

Only just short of 5 stars
In most respects the property was very comfortable to stay at and my wife, dog and I felt very relaxed. Two downsides which were out of the owners control is that there is nowhere close by to buy food or supplies. There is a general store but it has been closed down for awhile now and it's website doesn't make that clear, so stop at the town of Minlaton (20km's away) and lay in supplies first. Everything else is provided. This area relies on water tanks which requires pumps to provide water for everything in the house. On the afternoon of the final day there was a power outage which meant that anything in the house that relied on electricity or water could not be used, including the toilet. A relatively small investment in a solar and battery backup would overcome this shortcoming and make the property perfect. I would consider staying here again even if this problem wasn't fixed. All in all 4.9 out of 5!

Break from work
Well set out property with a secure backyard for our dog. good to have an espresso coffee, generous amounts of coffee grounds provided. Nice decking area with suitable furniture. Walking distance to beach. Short drives to Turton and Warooka - good pub meals. A quiet location that provided us with the restful break we needed.

A great pet friendly stay
We had a wonderful stay in Hardwicke Bay. This house is perfect! You literally just need to bring yourselves. We loved eating outside every night and it was a short stroll to the beach. We will definitely be back

Beautiful beach stay
The accommodation was beautifully presented and Monique has thought of every little detail which made our stay so enjoyable. Hardwicke Hideaway has a well equipped kitchen with coffee machine, very comfortable bedding, clean BBQ on the back verandah and the beach is a short walk. We felt so at home and we will definitely be back!

A fabulous holiday!
My partner and I, and our two dogs, absolutely loved our stay at Hardwicke Hideaway. The house was beautiful - it was clear that there was a strong attention to detail in all renovations and decor. The house contained everything we could have possibly wanted or needed for a relaxing week. The coffee machine was a nice touch too! The yard fencing was perfect for larger dogs - it was so much easier knowing we could leave our dogs outside unsupervised for a moment if needed. The only suggestion for improvement I have is for a larger TV in the lounge room, although to be honest we adjusted and it wasn’t a problem for us in the end! We are already planning our next visit because we enjoyed it so much!

Stay at Hardwick Bay
We had a great couple of days at Hardwicke Bay. The house was fabulous. The owners have lovingly renovated an original holiday house such that the character has been maintained but all amenities are spot on. The artworks are strikingly beautiful and the whole decor spot on. Our favourite part was being able to stay with our dog who also loved his stay on the peninsula. Thank you 😀

Secret escape
Lovely property, well fitted out and comfy. We used the fire too and it was perfect! Unfortunately weather wasn't good enough to enjoy the well set up back deck .... We will be back! Everything was a reasonably easy drive and the peninsula is beautiful.

Hardwick hideaway is perfectly located, short walk to the beautiful beach. We loved Hardwick bay , long beach walks , short drive to tour around and then to come home to our lovely cosy home.
