The property is nice and clean. Is a newer resort not even a year old so there are no structural issues observed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds are kid friendly but could have had more activities to do for adults entertainment wise (club/lounge) on site. If looking to hit up the beach this location is not for you. The beach area is more on the rougher side and unable to get in the water as a result. There are several pools onsite however that make up for no access to beach. Can always get a taxi to take you to a beach on the side with more calm waters. Food was good onsite with a variety of options everyday.

The hotel is beautiful, but should not be considered “all” inclusive. There were very limited food & drink options. There was a $25 delivery fee per room service order. There was also very little to do. A schedule was circulated for activities, but many of them did not actually happen. We were told to go to St Lawrence Gap for anything to do at night which was an $80 round trip cab fare. We also could not get a reservation at the one dinner reservation until the last night of our 4 night trip. We had to again take a cab to St Lawrence Gap for our daughter’s birthday dinner which was why we were on the trip. The staff was all very kind & provided good service, but it just seemed very obvious that management did not prioritize the guest experience. They should not call this an all exclusive and should adjust the pricing accordingly, then we would not have minded spending money on cabs and eating out.

Property is very beautiful and rooms are quite nice and luxurious. Staff is very friendly but the service is very slow. We felt like every task took much longer than normal, for example waiting 15-20 minutes each day to get an omelette at the breakfast buffet with major confusion (cooks confusing orders, having to re-do them). Food variety isn’t great, opportunity to improve. Fruit stations were room temperature and not chilled, this is personal preference I guess but I like my fruit to be more chilled especially if it’s pre - cut. Lots of flies everywhere in the restaurants and the rooms, nothing to mitigate it from what we see. Great property, has lots of potential but not quite there yet. Also location is far from the main attractions and the swimmable beaches, paid ~$100USD per day for taxis.

No daily activities and the food needs improvement
Our stay was “ok.” The food on the resort was limited and lacked variety, especially for a resort with only a buffet style restaurant available outside of their one speciality restaurant and a bar and grill. The food at all three restaurants was just ok, nothing special. The chicken (although over fried), nachos and the tacos were decent. The speciality restaurant does not allow children under 12 years. That would be ok if they had other speciality restaurants available, outside of the buffet. The staff at Sam’s Grill and the front desk were always congregating as if in a staff meeting all day long. They didn’t seem welcoming and or pleasant at times. There are some exceptions of course. Mariah and Britney at Sam Lord’s grill were amazing. Shauntai at the Mediterranean restaurant was amazing (there are a few others I do not remember their names). They ensured we felt welcome and provided great service. The entertainment staff Romaine, Conroy and Kevaughn were amazing at ensuring all the activities took place and were excited even when there was not a lot of guests that showed up. The talent show was a hit. Brandon, the manager at the specialty restaurant Castle View, was amazing, thoughtful and provided solutions to help me and my wife enjoy one night at the restaurant without our 5 month old baby. Thank you Brandon! Thank you Mario who made us great drinks at Castle View. Thank you to Kagina for making us frozè and other great drinks. They did not have daily activities!
