We enjoyed our stay at Casablanca Yaque B&B very much and would definitely recommend it to all! We spend a week there with most charming and friendly people we have ever met. The B&B owner, Orlando, upgraded our room to a larger one, with a private bathroom (shower and hot water!). The room was great, very clean, with an air conditioning unit and a fan. Breakfasts (optional) prepared by Maydeline were fantastic and so big that we couldn’t possibly eat it all. The location of Casablanca in old Havana is also great: only two blocks from Plaza Vieja, three blocks from the ferry wharf, etc. Practically all of the old Havana and most of the central Havana is walkable from this location (we did it and we are not spring chickens anymore). There is a good wifi connection at the house; you just need to buy an internet card from ETECSA to log in and Orlando can help you with that. Orlando, was incredibly helpful in every situation. During our stay, some of his guests, two adventurous girls from NY, developed stomach problems and Orlando prepared them a healthy soup, so the next day they were good as new. About the same time, a German tourist arrived to Casablanca from Mexico, but his luggage was lost; Orlando helped him with a toothbrush and other necessary items. Also, prior to our departure, Orlando cook for us and the German tourist an enormous dinner of Cuban national dishes - what a host! Thank you and thank you all at Casablanca Yaque! We’ll be back!

Staying in casas particulates in Cuba was overall a great experience. Every time we met extremely kind and available persons , but in this casa the experiences has been exceptional. The owners are extremely welcoming and we felt immediately at home , the people helping them are professional and always joyful! I’d definitely recommend this house as “human interaction- wise” you will meet with smily, kind and adorable persons giving particular attention to each one of the guests and also professionally wise as everyone is able to help giving the best tips and suggestions as well as I was impressed by how spotless the hole apartment was/ is (as actually we loved it so much we cutted short other parts of our trip to come back here!) . And of course the location is just perfect. Little plus: Orlando showed us the work in progress of the soon available huge terrace on the top of the building , which will be perfect for a relaxing time after a long day of strolling in the streets of Havana!

We had a great stay in Casablanca Yaque. Violeta and Andres, the hosts, were extremely available and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic too, with fruits and delicious pancakes. There was also air-condicioning which made the experience even better.
