It was the best place in cuba to stay for and the way how they care either food or service. They will pickup from airport and drop-off to the airport. I will highly recommend.

We're a young couple in our 30s, not at all precious & happy with basic accom while we explore the cities throughout the day, but this accommodation didn't meet expectations & I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. We've never complained about noise but we were constantly being woken throughout the night by traffic & people outside. The building itself is old & rundown. The room & bathroom are spacious but the water pressure is extremely weak & the hot water takes 15 mins to come through if at all. Wafts of petrol constantly filled the room. There are a few misleading amenities on this listing: 24 hour desk - implies that there is someone available 24 hours a day to help. No one was around during the day or at night. Nothing was explained to us regarding the facilities, what we could use, what was available to us. How the safe works; our key didn't fit & the keypad didn't work. Housekeeping - Our bed was made & that is all. In Habana you can't flush the toilet paper so a basket (no lid) was provided. This wasn't emptied at all. We asked for toilet paper one morning as we were out the night before. When we got back that night it still hadn't been replaced. Room service is impossible to have when there is no one around. Laundry service - no facilities available that we could see / were made aware of. From what we can tell Vedado isn't what it used to be. The main avenue is extremely busy with cars but the streets are quiet and the bars are well spread out and empty.

Awful 2 night stay - not recommended!

Dreadful experience, due to most other rooms here booked by one group taking part in cultural event at the hostel. Noisy and smoking right through night - stinking our room - impossible to sleep. Advised Cala next day by email, also that our room was not serviced. When we returned to our room again later - still not serviced. Retrieved our smokey towels from bottom of shower, had to head out to try to buy water and toilet paper - a difficult task - and 2nd night was worse. Also presenting fire hazard - Suggested to Cala - given the circumstances - we should not have been rented this room - and she might consider a refund - I was accused of blackmail - and lying regarding our 2nd night- I put the paper trail in the hands of hotels.com who have been wonderful support - As Cala would not answer their calls, they compensated us a large portion of our costs and suggested I write this review! While the room was clean - the kitchen was a pig-sty when we went to try to find a jug to boil water for coffee. There was not one. Our 4 unmarked keys - 3 different doors to get to our room and 1 for deposit box - had there been a fire with all the smoking - no chance of getting out. We cancelled our breakfast for the 2nd morning as the entire area stunk of cigarette - including our hair and clothes which we had to wash entirely when we left. We were spoilt! What a great find. Clara is an amazing host & Laritza kept our room clean and cooked us breakfast every morning, both beautiful friendly ladies. A very secure building, privacy and as for the room, comfortable, big & clean. Location was great, with restaurants nearby to enjoy. Highly recommend.

Das Haus zerfällt . Den Besitzern ist das wohl egal, der Putz im Stiegenhaus fällt von der Decke. Die Türen lassen sich nicht richtig verschließen. Der Zimmertresor ist ein Witz, das Schloss war schon bei der Anreise deff. und der Besitzer hat von uns dafür 60 USD verlangt. Die Bettwanzen sind auch da und in der Bettwäsche waren flecken , über deren Herkunft möchte ich gar nicht nachdenken. Unterm Strich ist die Betreiberfamilie nur an Abzocke interessiert und kümmert sich nicht um ihre Gäste. So schön Kuba auch sein mag solche Häuser vermiesen einem den Urlaub.
