The staff here were amazing and very friendly! The welcome juice was so appreciated and delicious. Our room was exactly what we needed and the place was so close to the malecón and to all the great spots of Old Havana! I would recommend 😊

The staff were exceptional and I totally felt safe staying within a Cuban community. It was an easy walk to the main streets but hard to find at night because there is no sign. I found that being on the second floor noisy from people above my room.

Horrible mattresses if you have a back problem do not stay here it will be a nightmare instead of a vacation their mattresses are very cheap its like sleeping on the floor.

Unfortunately the area has very old buildings with facades that look like aftermath of an earthquake, nothing that the Cubans citizens can control because there is no money for repairs and it’s sad, in addition there garbage on the streets .

Absolutely loved this place! Even better was the staff. Property was very nice. Great accommodations with perfect AC. Wonderful buffet breakfast every morning. Great location. The staff especially Umbella were very helpful in making arrangements for tours and transportation and anything they could do to help with our visit. Highly recommend and will be staying here again next time

I loved my stay at this hostel. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner. She was really friendly and offered us pineapple juice. She explained to us the amenities and how to get by in the city. The owner, her husband and their daughter live downstairs and were available for our needs. Every day, the cleaning lady would clean our room impeccably. The breakfast is included and prepared by the couple. They make really good juices (we had pineapple, watermelon, guava and papaya) and cook the eggs as you like. The hostel is located in center Havana near cute little restaurants.

El hostal La Merced es un buen hospedaje si quiere estar serca de la Habana vieja y centro habana , todo serca y se puede alcanzar todo rapido , buena atencion de la habitación y profecional , lo unico es que deben de cordinar el horario y hacegurar que todos los reservados esten en el hostal antes de serrar la puerta principal , un numero de teléfono seria en este caso de enorme importancia, en todo un hostal a la altura y estandar a la cual estamos acostumbrados en europa y otros paises fuera de cuba , gracias por la estancia

Zentral gelegene Unterkunft von der man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt zu Fuß erreichen kann. Super modern eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber allerdings etwas hellhörig sodass man andere Personen und die Eingangstür sehr laut gehört hat, dennoch würden wir das Casa weiterempfehlen.

I was very satisfied, the bed was comfortable, the room was large enough and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was also fine and if you have any questions they will be happy to answer you. You can even borrow an umbrella if it rains. thank you for the hospitality.
