The Hidden Owl is one of Masthope's hidden gems. This large private Log Cabin is the ideal escape for the next family getaway. This vacation rental has 3 living areas, 2 kitchens, media room, and a game room. At meal time, barbecue on the gas grill, then feast as a family on the large deck. In the summer, hit up Masthope's Beach and pools for fun in the sun. In the winter, head over to Ski Big Bear for a skiing / tubing escapade! Everyone of all ages can be thoroughly entertained at all times!

This home in Lackawaxen is uniquely situated on over two acres. The perfect Masthope property to explore nature and enjoy the wildlife while you roast marshmallows and tell stories around the custom firepit (firewood included). The house is over 3,800sq ft with lots of open spaces to enjoy family and friends, as well as relaxing areas to get some rest especially on our carefully appointed mattresses and linens provided at no extra charge. Cozy up in the two main level living areas around the double sided fireplace. When you're done getting cozy, head over to the game and media room for some fun! The home's features and layout makes it perfect for families and friends to make lifetime memories. No need to worry about propane for the grill either, as it is always full. Some coffee pods and tea will also be provided to get you started on your stay.

**ALL-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE STONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE STEEP DRIVEWAY DURING WINTER MONTHS**

After booking The Hidden Owl, you will receive a message requesting your email address. A link will then be sent to your email. The below items will need to be sent back to your host at least 8 days prior to your check-in:

- The full name(s), phone number(s), email address(es), and mailing address(es) of all Rental occupant(s) to be registered
- The make, model, color, and state/license plate number of each vehicle used by Rental occupants
- A short term rental agreement
- All above requirements will need to be sent to your host 8 days prior to your check-in, or a $25 late fee will be incurred

Masthope Mountain Community offers the opportunity to
Ski Big Bear Mountain (book now for 25% off lift tickets), enjoy 2 outdoor pools, a kiddie splash pool, Tiki Bar, a cafe, and Summit Restaurant. Additionally, lake/beach access with kayaks, paddle boards, volleyball, playgrounds, and an ice cream shop. The community also offers an arcade game room, tennis/paddle/basketball courts, mini golf, a fitness center, horse stables, and a petting zoo. The market also makes fresh sandwiches and is stocked with food staples.

If using the amenities, there is an amenity charge from Memorial Day to Labor Day. **You only pay for the days you wish to use the amenities.** This covers the use of the two pools, lake, horse stables, tennis courts, fitness center, and mini golf. The cost is $10 a day per person, and children under 2 years of age are free. There is a limit of 12 passes per day. Amenities cannot be used the day of check in or check out. You can pay for the days in advance or the day of. The passes can be purchased at the main office.

**All taxes are included. Guests will be required to sign a rental agreement after booking is completed.

*Please note the $125 Administration fee covers guest registration with the HOA and the use of the garbage compactor.

For safety and security, there are cameras on the property. One is facing up the driveway, another is at the front entrance facing the front deck steps, another at the back sliding glass door facing the door, and last, in the utility room for surveillance of water heater, and heating/cooling system.
