Steven the owner, was very responsive to my request to provide TV coverage for local channels.
The house in general was nice with a few issues.
When we rent properties, three times per year, we expect them to be in as good condition and have the amenities you would find in the middle tier of motels. Not a very high standard. The 'lodge look' decorative items i.e. ceramic bear on top of the refrigerator for one, need to be dusted. The wallpaper border of ducks in the half bath is partially torn off the wall. It's as if somebody was sitting there and board. There cleaner stains on the tiles surrounding the toilet bowl brush. The master bedroom carpet is spotted and stained throughout. The master bath grout ranges in color from off white to dark gray. What was a shiny aluminum shower door and frame was painted black and 40% of the paint has peeled off. Only hand soap was provided in the bathroom. Motels provide bath soap. Towels and washcloths that would be so nice and plush are so rough from apparent lack of fabric softener.
I understand other renters leave behind seasonings, etc. so that the next renter doesn't have to purchase for a few shakes. The house has an over abundance of seasonings, open containers of food in the cabinets and refrigerator. Multiple open jars of pickles, etc. Who would eat somebody's leftovers like that? Nasty and unsanitary. The refrigerator door was so full of crap with had to trash it for our crap to fit. Adirondack chairs would have been nice on
