The Space:
Your family, friends or small group will enjoy this modern cabin with a cozy wood burning fireplace, a 65" HD ROKU TV - perfect for streaming your favorite shows, a well stocked kitchen and resort amenities. The screened gazebo and spacious deck with a retractable gate - great for keeping pets and little ones safe. The wide stairs will lead guests to the fire pit area where everyone will enjoy making s’mores. This cozy home is an outdoor lovers haven! Access to The Woods Resort with indoor and outdoor pools and sports courts, 36 holes of golf and only 10 minutes to public river access. All four seasons are sure to please with hiking and the beauty of West Virginia!

Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!

During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:

- Indoor heated swimming pool
- Large whirlpool
- Tennis court
- Racquetball court
- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball
- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines

(Note: because the Sports Center is for members only, we need to set aside guest passes for your use. We’re charged a per-day fee for each guest over 5 years old – but we’re happy to provide these for you free of charge! If you plan to use the Sports Center, just call or text us that morning and we’ll be sure they set aside passes for you and your group.) :)

1. The Woods Golf Course (distance from house - 5 minutes): Renowned for “fun and fair” golf, the 18-hole championship Mountain View course is perfect for low handicappers and the Stony Lick mid-length course for the rest of us!

2. The Old Roman Bathhouse (distance from house - 30 minutes): Home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times, the park’s Old Roman and Main bathhouses offer a wide selection of spa services, including massages, saunas, baths and showers.

3. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 40 minutes): Offers hiking, fishing, and golfing, with beautiful views and various trails.

4. Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 25 minutes): Known for its natural mineral springs and spa services, it's a lovely spot for relaxation. Don’t forget to stop by Lot 12 Public House, Charlotte's Cafe, The Beehive Cafe, Berkeley Springs Brewing Company and Ravenwood to enjoy some local favorites.

5. Spring Valley Farmers Market (distance from house - 15 minutes): Stock up on local produce and baked goods

6. Black Draft Farm & Distillery (distance from house - 25 minutes): Near the farmers market, and the perfect spot for a drink!

7. Whitetail Ski Resort (distance from house - 1 hour): A pure mountain town experience for family and friends to escape too. The high speed chairlifts and vertical terrain means you’ll get tons of runs in. Cozy lodges and unique restaurants, night skiing and tubing round out this perfect spot to enjoy your winter vacation.

8. Antietam National Battlefield (distance from house - 50 minutes): Just a short drive away, it's a significant Civil War site with walking trails and informative exhibits.

9. Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (distance from house - 60 minutes): Offers stunning views and rich history, with plenty of hiking and sightseeing opportunities. While in town, don’t forget to stop by the Harpers Ferry Brewing Co.

10. Shenandoah National Park (distance from house - 1 hour and 25 minutes): Bursting with cascading waterfalls, spectacular vistas, fields of wildflowers, and quiet wooded hollows. With over 200,000 acres of protected lands. Enjoy river tubing on the Shenandoah River with Harpers Ferry Adventure Center and several other companies.
