This was the first leg of our European tour. This hotel is close to the main train station and within walking distance. You can take the train to old town or walk as it is just under 2k. There was contactless check in which I thought was really cool. There is a staff person there but only at certain hours. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel B54 is a treasure for an economy hotel! Close to train station, VERY clean and recently renovated it seems. Room had fully functional kitchenette. Bathroom is spacious and modern. Walk to Old Town is about 20 minutes. Many dining choices nearby. Highly recommended B54!

It was close to the main train station and almost close to the Heidelberg’s main attractions, the castle and the bridge.

The hotel was conveniently located just a few steps from the corner where there was a tram station. Also there is a supermarket nearby where you can buy supplies and food. The hotel offers self check-in. Over-all the place is clean and the surrounding area is safe even at night.

Nice Hotel
The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. We called ahead of time and we were able to reserve a parking spot for a small fee. No breakfast available on site, but there is a gas station across the street where you can quickly grab something to eat.

Overall, we really liked this hotel and the "apartment" (it was one room with a double and single bed, a bathroom and a very small kitchen/dining area. The area was lovely, extremely convenient to public transportation, and close to a nice grocery store. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and good value. Downsides are no safe in the room, staff only there for a few hours each day, no microwave in the kitchen and no phone in the room. Also I wouldn't want to drive/park in the area, but the hotel is close to trains, street cars and busses. The apartment is smaller than the photos suggested but worked fine for 2 people and we greatly appreciated the air conditioning. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay
We have stayed in many hotels over the last 8 months. To say that his hotel was a surprise is an understatement. It exceeded our expectations on every level. Apart from some country specific idiosyncrasies (no tea towel and no dish washing liquid), the stay was perfect. From an easy self check-in to a larger than normal living area with usable clothes hanging space, the apartment was great. Fully air-conditioned, a super comfortable bed, great pillows and blockout curtains made for a very comfortable stay. The apartment is close to a Ksaufland supermarket and a few minutes walk to the Heidelberg Hbf. A tram stop is only a short walk away.
