We also provide every guest a huge trip planner document that is extremely helpful when visiting Helen covering things such as the best restaurants and bars, how to park for free in town, hiking trails, waterfalls and winery recommendations. Now on to our specific listing description;

GENERAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION;
Bearadise Chalet is located inside the impressive Innsbruck Resort just 1 mile, as the crow flies, to downtown Helen and only 3-4 minutes driving. Uber runs about $10 right into town or you can pay $10 to self park. We also know the free parking spots and we share that with all of our guests. Our property is the perfect mix of being just outside downtown Helen so you are close to all the action, but also not directly in the downtown area so you can enjoy the quiet mountain sounds of the woods, play some great golf and take in the long range mountain views from our multiple elevated decks. The amenities offered by the private gated community of Innsbruck are a huge added bonus; You can access the beautiful POA outdoor swimming pool in season (summer), Pickleball, tennis and exceptional golfing, a beautiful spa and multiple restaurants and bars available to all of our guests at the Valhalla Hotel and Resort inside our gated community. Aside from the restaurant, these amenities are not open to the general public staying outside of Innsbruck. The house was significantly renovated in late 2021 and has all new quality furniture throughout. Much of the furniture was handmade by a local Helen woodworking artisan.

CHALET OVERVIEW;
The 3000 sq ft air conditioned and heated chalet has 5 bedrooms with 3.5 baths over three levels. It is on top of a mountain above Helen on a large lot which is mostly wooded and private, but also has exceptional long range mountain and golf course views. The chalet is roughly 50% windows so you have awesome views from just about every room and also makes the chalet very sunny and bright as we selectively removed some trees. The floors are absolutely beautiful recently refinished high gloss pine floors. The walls are adorned with large custom gallery style canvas prints of mountain and cabin themed artwork and some of my husband's photography. All quilts and other decor reflect mountain themes for the genuine cabin feel inside. Our kitchen, like all of our rental properties, is extremely well stocked with every conceivable kitchen gadget you can think of for cooking basic to extensive meals. We have 100 photos with very detailed listing descriptions to help you learn more so you are informed about our property.

FLOOR BY FLOOR;
The first level is a combination of a covered carport and a two car garage turned into a game room with a full size ping pong table, dart board set and a full-size Foosball table. Also on the first floor there is a huge bedroom with bunk beds (twin mattresses) and more board games, a 55" flat screen smart TV and poker table for 4 people, with chips and cards in a silver metal box. There is also an accompanying en-suite full bathroom and a full laundry room in what was once a sauna. From the carport outside that leads to a long wooden deck walkway to our 14 x 14 foot covered gazebo and gas fire pit. Its a magical space at night and one of our favorite places as a family during the colder months.

The second level is the main level of the house and comprised of many rooms and spaces. The master bedroom is on this floor with a king bed and en-suite with a corner Jacuzzi tub with beautiful nature and golf course views as you sit in the tub. The master bedroom also has a private covered deck with seating. Continuing with the main floor as you exit the master near the kitchen we have small, but very cute half guest bath. Next there is the large open concept kitchen with a center island that seats 4 easily on good quality bar stools. The kitchen has a lovely ledger stone back splash and pass through window to the sun porch along with tons of cabinet space. There is a separate, yet open, dining room which is all windows allowing for beautiful natural light and views. The dining room table, chairs and benches are all hand made of solid wood and seat 6 easily. Off the dining room is the main floor front deck with three Adirondack Chairs and 40 mile long range mountain views. The living room has a large leather sofa and two side chairs accompanied by a coffee table and two end tables. There is also a 65" flat screen smart TV sitting above the living room gas powered fireplace. The ceiling in the living room is 25 feet and the wall is all windows ceiling to floor; an incredible space. The kitchen and dining room and living room is all one space is a wonderful great room so the family can be altogether. Last, but not least, is the massive all glass sun porch...our favorite room in the house. It is enormous and used to be an exterior uncovered deck. It is literally all windows (see photos). You feel like you are sitting in a luxury tree house. The space overall is so cozy and lovely, along with two green Tiffany style lamps and the matching chandelier and fireplace.

The third level has three bedrooms all with queen beds and a huge full bathroom with sky light and walk in shower. Two of the bedrooms connect through French doors to the third level exterior deck with sweeping views of the golf course, woods and our gazebo fire pit. Also as an added bonus the third level has a very cozy loft with two navy accent chairs and a table for reading or a glass of wine. The sunsets from the loft as seen through the towering "A frame" windows are a sight to see. As for small children there are metal railings for safety on the stairs and loft area, see photos.

HELEN AND SURROUNDING AREAS OVERVIEW;
Helen has activities for everyone such as; endless restaurants and bars, all sorts of events through year such as Oktoberfest and The Balloon Festival, shopping, fudge and ice cream parlors, river tubing, water slides, mini golf, alpine coasters, BBQ joints, escape rooms, mining for gems, etc, etc, etc. There are tons of lakes and rivers and waterfalls and trails to hike and explore locally. Probably 15+ wineries to tour as well. There is something for everyone. Helen is the 3rd most visited town in Georgia despite having only 600 full time residents. And don't forget we also send out our fantastic trip planner document to all of our guests covering everything from check in procedures and directions, to the best restaurants and beer halls and surrounding adventure stuff to do, where to park in town for free, plus lots more.

***Very important - When making your reservation in VRBO/HomeAway PLEASE put in the correct number of guests in your entire group; adults, children and babies so you get an accurate price for your stay. Many people make a reservation for a couple people and then arrive with triple that amount without telling us. Please do not be that guest - Thank you in advance for respecting that!
