Quiet getaway in the Mountains
We booked this house prior to Hurricane Helene. House was in great shape...super cozy, yet the high ceilings made it feel spacious. Kitchen was stocked and we even took advantage of the outdoor grill. Our 7 y/o son took the loft which turned into his young man cave...he loved it! The whole family appreciated the hot tub. Only downside was that several hiking trails were not accessible due to damage from the hurricane. A small hiccup compared to the devastation that so many residents nearby endured. Definitely would recommend exploring downtown Hendersonville....super cute town! Additionally we checked out Sierra Nevada and New Belgium breweries....both did not dissapoint. Downtown Asheville is a vibe all it's own. We had fun exploring and soaking in the culture. WNC Strong!

Great little getaway!
Windy Ridge was a great place to stay! The views are great, and it feels remote even though it’s not too far from town. The cabin was very clean, and the owners communicate well. We definitely recommend staying there!

So amazing, We came back!
We just love this home in the mountains! It is such a relaxing place. The home is positioned for the best mountain views. The covered hot tub is such a treat at the end of the day. Downtown Hendersonville & Chimney Rock are short drives away and are super fun places to visit. We are already planning our return trip :)

Peaceful retreat with amazing views!
Thanks for sharing your peaceful retreat with us. The views are amazing; we sat on the deck any time we were not out exploring. The location is away from the busy cities, but still very convenient for day trips hiking to waterfalls, visiting orchards, tasting local wine, ciders and beer, and nice restaurants.

Awesome place to stay!
Windy Ridge was a beautiful place! We would have coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains every day! We are always eating out on vacation, but the view and hot tub allowed us to want to have a couple meals grilling. I slept better than I have in a long time. I need to find a set of those sheets! You are close to Hendersonville and Chimney Rock, and 40 minutes from Asheville. Plenty to do in the area! We were never bored and the house gave us a nice place to relax after a long day. The hot tub was a bonus! The house is very well apponted and not far from Ingles Market for provisions. You can stop at any orchard for fruit along the way. Jennifer was great to deal with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Hidden gem in Hendersonville
We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The place is kept very clean and organized by the hosts. We enjoyed the nearby trails and the amazing views from the cabin. The hot tub was our favorite spot after a long day visiting Biltmore estate. The great comfort and smooth communication provided by the hosts made our stay quite special and memorable. 100% recommended.

Perfect Getaway!
This home was exactly what we needed for our vacation. Yes it is secluded and you can’t just make a quick trip to the store but it’s worth it. The location was perfect for day trips to Biltmore, Chimney Rock, Jump Off, Sliding Rock etc…Home was clean, charming and well maintained and the view was spectacular! Rocking chairs out front and upstairs are the perfect touch to enjoy the view any time of the day. Jennifer was a pleasure working with and you can tell that she has pride in her home and she should. It is a beautiful! I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

MORE than just the FANTASTIC view
This is our favorite VRBO we ever stayed at. Can't beat the location. Very very private, quiet, no traffic, extremely clean and nice! Certainly not your cheapest of everything rental. Easy communication with the host. I can't think of enough good things to say. All of us kept commenting that it was the perfect.

Always Perfect
We come here at least once a year and will continue to do so. The views are wonderful and comparable to what we would normally have to drive an extra 1.5 hours to experience. From the roomy hot tub to the completely stocked kitchen to the smart TV on which you can watch all your streaming shows, there is nothing else I could add to make this vacation destination any better.

Wonderful home and stay!
We took our family of 6 to this property. We have 4 children from 28-9. The property was clean, beautifully taken care of and even decorated for the holiday that weekend. Our family loved the comfort of the home, as well as the location. We were able to see sites and hike, then come home and make a dinner together. Highly recommend this home for your next stay near Hendersonville/Asheville.

Perfect View
We were so pleased with our stay at Windy Ridge! This perfect mountain cabin feels privately tucked away in the mountains and has the most gorgeous views. However, the home is a short drive to downtown Hendersonville and Chimney Rock. Both areas a filled with great shopping, breweries, and restaurants. The house was well accommodating. We especially enjoyed the sunrise and sunset views while relaxing in the hot tub. The hosts are wonderful and were very responsive when needed. Of note: there is one step into the main floor of the home and a walk-in shower. This is a great retreat choice for anyone with difficult navigating stairs. We cannot wait to comeback.
