Todellinen hirsimökki

Moody-perhe, jolle Moody Hollow on nimetty, rakensi Adanaylan jonkin aikaa vuoden 1950 alkupuolella tai puolivälissä. Rakastamme eteläisten Apalakkien historiaa ja luonnonvaroja, ja rakkaus heijastuu matkustamon sisustukseen. Monet matkustamon antiikista ovat peräisin 1800-luvulta Appalakkien alueilta Tennessee, Georgia ja Pohjois-Carolina. Vaikka hytti voi olla yli puoli vuosisataa vanha, kaikki laitteet, LVI ja sähkö ovat uusia. Olemme nyt iloisia voidessamme jakaa tämän maagisen paikan muiden kanssa. Adanayla on lemmikkieläinystävällinen mökki ja kertaluonteinen maksu per lemmikkieläin lisätään, jos tuot koirasi.

Kävele tietä pitkin puroa pitkin, kunnes pääset viimeiselle portille. Tulet pienelle yksityiselle polun päälle. Seuraa tätä polkua ja se vie sinut kauniille Ylä- ja Ala-Korkealle putouksille sekä Appalakkien polun kannukseen. Laskut ovat vain 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä matkustamosta!

Moody Hollow sijaitsee Chattahoocheen kansallismetsässä, joka kattaa yli 750 000 hehtaaria! Lähellä olevat lukuisat purut ja purot asuvat Georgian parhaimmista taimenen kalastuksista ja yhdestä suurimmista salamanderilajeista planeetalla.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Chattahoochee National Forest. Majoituspaikassa on saatavilla vesipuisto. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa keittiön ja pyykinpesukoneen/kuivausrummun.

Oktoberfest experience
We stayed in the house just to sleep after a long day of touring Helen and wineries. It was as hard to find the location where address says, we end up asking neighbors where it’s at . The cabin was quiet but due to age , it had musty odor. The basement room was not too secure for everyone as it’s totally separated and requires key to get upstairs. Overall the weekend stay was ok .

This rental needs a lot of work. It was really clean inside but the outside deck is awful and the outside windows and screens need desperately to be cleaned. We had a hard time getting past the odor and I guess what is just mold and age. The location is great and we loved the creek running close by. Probably won't stay here again. WAY OVER PRICED for the rental quality.

Nice place and great location for outdoor activities
Overall, my group and I had a good time at this cabin. The cabin was supplied with everything you need and was clean. It's also in a great location for outdoor enthusiasts. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are spread out. One of the better waterfalls in Georgia is also a close walk from the cabin. The only downsides were there's really no yard and the downstairs bedroom/tv room is a little claustrophobic. Kids may get a little bored, so just bring tablets/books/games for them. The gas fireplace wasn't working and maintenance responded quickly to try to fix it, but were unable to. Cell service is very limited in the area, however the cabin has wifi. If you don't mind a slight rustic feel to your accommodations, then you'll enjoy this cabin like we did.

Wonderful Cabin in The Woods
The property is beautiful and well maintained everything the pictures suggest. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin has everything you could need for long or short stay. Coffee pot, kettle, washer and dryer, towels, and most kitchen essentials for cooking. The screened porch area is large and has a beautiful swing and rocking chairs that I lived in for most of our stay. There is also a deck area with picnic table and chairs to seat 6. The stairs down to the extra bedroom and living room area are very steep and there is no access to that area other than the stairs. The hike to high shoal falls is beautiful but is a moderate uphill hike with some obstacles but totally worth it. The narrow drive and steep drive way made entering and leaving the cabin area difficult and probably impossible if you are driving a small front wheel drive car. I read the other warnings but didn’t think much of it since we have a big truck. If you have never been on mountain roads or have a fear of curvy roads this cabin is not for you. But if you want to feel like you out in the woods on a mountaintop with friendly quiet neighbors that I so much enjoyed book your stay right now!

Davis cabin is in a great location. It’s off the beaten path but 20 mins from downtown Helen! It’s a private location. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only complaint I have is that the only TV is downstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

A peaceful getaway
We had a problem getting up to the cabin because of deep ruts on the road up to the cabin. The cabin was great! Very enjoyable to hear the sounds of the flowing water and surrounding mountains. Great location!

This was a very cozy cabin in the mountains! The downstairs almost like a mother in law suite was nice, I didn't realize it was outside and down the stairs, so that was super cool. We had no problems with our visit. The property manager's checked in several times!

Beautiful, relaxing, great place to unplug
My family stayed here for a week and had a fantastic time reconnecting and being unplugged together. We played board games, hiked the falls, tubed the river and climbed Brasstown Bald. We enjoyed grilling, campfires, and chilling on the porch. We love Moody Hollow!

The cabin and location was great! Our only concern was when we neared the location of the cabin we lost our phone service and couldn’t receive the code to get into the cabin. We had to drive towards Hiwassee to get a signal and then the code.

Great Spot
This was a lovely cabin. I was pleasantly surprised. The pictures don't do it justice, it is bigger than it looks! Had a little trouble with the directions but that may be because we were looking for an actual veggie stand and not a sign that say "veggie stand drive" lol. 10/10 would come back.
