Enjoy breathtaking views of Whiteside Mountain from our beautifully sited and appointed cabin. Savor the serenity and privacy that its four wooded acres offer in a gated community between Highlands and Cashiers. The Cowee Ridge community of 27 homes is just 8 minutes from downtown Highlands and 10 minutes from the Cashiers 'Crossroads'.

Please note that we do not allow rentals stays longer than 14 nights. The VRBO system will allow you to book longer stays, however we will have to cancel or edit your reservation to a maximum of 14 nights. Additionally, we only allow dogs - no cats. Thank you for your understanding!

The cabin sleeps 6 in three private bedrooms with master on the main with king bed, guest rooms with queen beds: each with a private bath. You'll find hand selected 'lodge' furnishings, original art and every imaginable comfort. Note: level entry from the parking area. The home is fully provisioned: towels, linens, soaps, tissue, garbage bags, paper towels, cleaning agents, etc. Please note we do not provide wash cloths.

During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Nantahala National Forest. Features include 1 hot tub and an arcade/games room. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the holiday home.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain home in Highlands, NC! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked—not just with the basics, but with thoughtful extras like paper towels, spices, cooking supplies and even a bottle of Chardonnay!The home itself was spotless, with spacious bedrooms and a great layout. Having a private bedroom and bath on each floor was perfect for our group, and the two living spaces made it easy for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds were super comfortable, and the porches on both levels were a fantastic touch—ideal for enjoying the peaceful mountain views, especially in warmer weather.Communication with the hosts was seamless, and they even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Checkout requirements were minimal which was nice! If we had to be really picky, the lower-level tub/shower is quite deep—something to keep in mind for those with mobility concerns. But honestly, that’s just nitpicking.Overall, this was a fantastic rental, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Charming and spacious cabin in amazing location
This cabin makes for the perfect getaway with each bed and bath on its own floor, it’s the perfect place to book for family and/or friends. The cabin is in a fantastic location right in between highlands and cashiers and within minutes to Whiteside Mountain where you can beat the crowd for a morning hike. Caitlan and Michael were wonderful hosts who provided incredible recommendations. I highly recommend schooling to book your mountain getaway here and will look forward to future stays here!

Lovely Mountain Home
This is a lovely mountain home. Extremely clean. Great layout -- room for everyone -- with a private location. There is a nice view of the mountains from the back deck. It is tastefully furnished and comfortable. The property is also centrally located with easy access to the Highlands, Cashiers and to hiking trails The host was easy to communicate with and responsive. Great place to stay and thanks so much.

A perfect stay
My family and I visited for a winter weekend. The house was in perfect condition with a great location for quick visits to the Highlands, Cashiers, and Saphire. We had a small issue with the hot water when we arrived and the owners were so quick to resolve. We will be back!

Perfection!
Absolutely perfect 5 days! The home was perfectly situated between downtown Highlands and Cashiers- making for a short drive to either. It was clean, quiet, private, and so well done. Michael was extremely responsive and we wanted for nothing. We cannot wait to go back!

Great for a couples getaway from the kids
The property was perfect for 3 adult couples. Each bedroom was on its own in the house which was perfect. Great open kitchen and den for those after dinner fires. Beautiful views off the back deck and well located right between Cashiers and Highlands. It was a great weekend! Highly recommend.

Wonderful house, terrific hosts
We were looking for a 3 bedroom house with open decks, privacy, beautiful setting, hot tub, ample space, midway between Highlands and Cashiers, with "Premier Hosts" and we found it all! Spotless. Well appointed. Super friendly and helpful owners. Lush natural landscaping. It was everything we hoped it would be. No need for us to look anywhere else the next time we head that way.

As soon as we pulled up to the house, we were in love. The pictures don’t do this home justice. It was the perfect space for our weekend getaway and in such a great location for getting into Highlands. We spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the views.
