Tule kokemaan Black Hills Rothin mökissä Moonshine Gulchissa, jossa vieraanvaraisuus on intohimomme. Ymmärrämme kuinka tärkeät lomat ja perhe-aika ovat, ja teemme kaikkemme tehdäksemme lomastasi loistavan muiston. Vaikka ajotie on turvallinen nelipyöräisille ajoneuvoille, se ei ole turvallinen moottoripyörille. Mökissämme on 3 makuuhuonetta (1 kuningatar, 2 tuplaa ja kaksinkertainen futon toisessa kerroksessa), 2 kylpyhuonetta, täysin varustettu keittiö, pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, kaapeli-tv, dvd ja puhelin. Vuodevaatteet, pyyhkeet ja tyynyt ovat korkealaatuisia, ja hytti puhdistetaan perusteellisesti jokaisen käytön jälkeen. Etelä-Dakotan terveysministeriö on myöntänyt sille luvan ja tarkastanut sen säännöllisesti.
Kaksi tilavaa kannetta tarjoavat kauniit näkymät, ja ne on sisustettu korikalusteilla ja kaasugrilli. Tarkastele kuuluisaa Mickelson Trail-kantaa sekä peuroja, kalkkunaa ja joskus hirveä. Mökissä ja ulkopuolella on takka. Mökki on 18 kilometriä Historic Deadwoodista, 35 mailia Crazy Horse, 30 kilometriä Mt Rushmore, 38 kilometriä Legendary Sturgis ja 25 mailia Deerfield Lake.
Matkustamon säännöt: nukkua, käydä pitkiä kävelyretkiä, rentoutua, paahtaa hot dogia ja S'more: itä, muodostaa yhteys perheen kanssa, lukea tähtiä, pelata pelejä, lukea kirjaa, ottaa nappaa riippumatossa, tehdä arvokkaita muistoja.

Lovely cabin! Quiet hideaway, but close to other attractions. Loved that we were close to the Mickelson trail. The host was very helpful with our questions, and did a great job of making us feel welcome.

Wonderful Mountain Cabin
Beautiful cozy cabin right in the mountains.Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and wonderful deckviews of the mountains. Loved staying here and having the quiet beauty. Hearing the stream below, and seeing fawns playing in the yard were an added blessing. Though we didn't bike or hike the Michelson Trail, it has close access. Great place for our family.

Beautiful location, it was everything we were looking for, the only thing that was of concern was the shower on first floor with getting the temp right and still be able to conserve water, but the surrounding and location made up for any inconveniences

Beautiful Cabin on a Hill
Wonderful place to stay with great hosts. Beautiful views and everything you need to sit back and relax. Cabin is on a steep hill which my Jeep loved! But my Daughters car not so much. Once you learned the tricks it was a breeze to navigate. Would definitely rent again if we are on the area.

Beautiful Cabin, Off the beaten path.
Beautiful Cabin located in Rochford. Nice and quiet with wild life frequenting. Close to the Lead and Deadwood area. If you are going south it is 11 miles of gravel, but the road is good and about 45 minutes to Hill City area. If you're heading north it is perfect. The driveway is graveled and fairly steep, but doable. If you want some family time away from the noise you could not do better. Overall we loved the time there. Al and Rosemary are very nice people.

iT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, REALLY NICE. I DO HAVE ONE COMPLANT THOUGH, THE RUTTY GRAVEL DRIVE LEADING UP TO THE CABIN LEFT MUCH TO BE DESIRED, IT WOULD SCARE AND CONFUSE MOST OLDER PEOPLE AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THAT WITH FEW EXCEPTION, YOU HAVE TO DRIVE ON TWISTY, WINEDY ROADS FOR TEN MILES, COMING AND GOING.

Rochford cabin review
It was a pleasure visiting with Rosemary prior to our trip. Cabin was very clean and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning and evenings watching the deer and chipmunks. The location was a challenge getting to some of our sites we wanted to see but very doable. The goodie basket that was there when we arrived was a very special treat.

Fantastic place to be!
Pictures and description of this property and location so not do it justice! The cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy, and had all the basics you need! The owners were fantastic, checking in during our arrival and making sure we had all we needed. The goody basket was a nice surprise as well! My kids felt right at home. Would definitely recommend this location if you are looking to be in the hills!

Beautiful Remote Cabin
The cabin and property were well maintained and very nice. The view from the porches was great ! Right at a trailhead for Mickelson Trail, which is a great trail to hike or hike. Just be prepared for no cell or internet for several miles all around you and you will need to drive 20-30 minutes for a city/town or cell service. But, if you’re looking for a lovely relaxing beautiful get away into nature this is perfect! We loved our stay. Cabin had everything we needed and was very clean.

The pictures do not do this little slice of heaven justice. Absolutely beautiful cabin and the view is spectacular. Almost didn’t make it up the driveway a few times, but as the sign says, “You have to climb the mountain to see the view”. The residents of Rochford (Moonshine Gulch”, all 9 of them are the kindest people that all of us have ever met. They offered their vehicle when one of our friends fell and hurt her leg. (We were on bikes). Al and Rosemary are compassionate people. Al towed our trailer all the way to Rapid City where our RV was being repaired. We spent 2 weeks there and really got to know the locals. We will miss them. Thank you Al and Rosemary.
