We had a rather unfortunate time with this property. We were notified the day of our check in that our refrigerator was running a little hot. When we showed up the fridge was not functioning at all. We had already bought food and put it in the fridge without knowing if it was fixed or not because of the lack of communication from the property manger. We lost money on groceries that went bad as well as the money we needed to spend to eat out instead of making meals at the house.
Overall, I understand that things happen. No one plans for a fridge to break. However, when it happens, and you provide a customer service oriented product, you have to communicate effectively so people can plan accordingly. This company did not do that. In fact we were consistently sent automated messages about our stay instead of the management company reaching out to check on our stay, provide updates, etc… most updates I received were because I continued to ask about the status.
If the owner reads this (or if the PM is the owner), I want to encourage you to prioritize the customer experience. We won’t come back and it’s not because it’s a bad house, it’s because we didn’t feel valued as a customer.
