Very convenient near train station. Hotel was a little stuffy for our taste and the room was expensive. Very walkable area, so would look around next time for something cozier with a view of the castle.

Wonderful Hotel
We stayed this hotel only one night on the way from Kumamoto to Tokyo. We wanted to visit Himeji Castle. We chose this hotel because 1. It’s by the Himeji Station and walking distance to all the fun activities 2. There is a breakfast buffet with the reasonable additional price which was amazing buffet! 3. We needed 3 beds in a room but the room was a little tight.

Lovely hotel, handy to station and the main sights
The Monterey was a most agreeable hotel. Very helpful staff, very well kept and clean and a great Onsen style bath. Very handy to station, shops and the castle and other sights.

Me and my two friends had a comfortable stay here in the triple twin room. The hotel feels grand in stature and our room was immaculate. Staff at the front desk and in the bath were very friendly. Location next to Himeji Station was super convenient. Would stay here again!
