Upon our check in, we were assigned a room that opened to the outdoors, I was not comfortable with that approached. The front desk was helpful in changing our rooms, but with a charge. Our assigned room was clean and comfortable. However, the first night I thought an airliner was coming off the runway into our room. It was so noisy. My husband thought it was motorcycles. I get it. The hotel was probably hear before the freeway.

The hotel is very convenient in that it's located right next to the airport. Complimentary breakfast was good and there are other eating options in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, except for the bathroom. It was dated with a rusted drain cover, visible mold/mildew in the grout, and dust in the corner next to the bath tub.

Kudos: I greatly appreciated the upbeat and professional front desk staff, who were so welcoming, professional,and kind. The east-facing upper floors provide an amazing view of the downtown skyline. As we stayed New Year's eve, we had a perfect view of the bananas fireworks over Honolulu. We would have used the convenient airport shuttle but the location of the hotel made it necessary to rent a car to get around the island in a more cost effective way. Hotel room was quiet and great for jetlag recuperation. Areas in need of improvement: deep cleaning of washing machines and especially dryer filters; $40 daily rate parking was excessive; slow draining bath tub

Very convenient location next to airport. Also next to the freeway. The A/C is pretty loud and that helped to create enough white noise to fall asleep. Staff very friendly and free breakfast was good. The hotel does provide a map of near by restaurants.

Booked one room for our family and another for three students on a field trip. Informed the hotel of the three students’ names and arrival times and the hotel was unwilling to let the students in despite speaking with me on the phone and despite numerous invitations to read their communications from Expedia. Students had to sit in their dingy and over-air conditioned lobby for hours while the manager was “on lunch break.” The height of unprofessionalism. To boot, the hotel is located under a highway overpass. Feels like John Belushi’s apartment in Blues Brothers.
