Not clean, no AC, no balcony access
Central air conditioning did not work because there was a small AC appliance installed. As a result, we could not open the window to let in fresh air or use the balcony. This was not shown in the photos, so it felt deceiving upon walking in. The room was always above 73°F because the AC unit did not work well at cooling the space at all. We saw a couple of small roaches on our first night but did not see anymore after that. The place was not cleaned very well as the bottom of my feet would be dirty after showering then walking around the room. We also found some blonde hairs from a previous guest (we have black hair). The app this company uses for communications also does not work. They link it in their emails but it just takes you to a broken Google Play page. They did respond to direct emails pretty quickly though.

i booked this room for 4 days , the room does not look like the picture, even though i paid for 4 days we left after only staying one night and booked next at a much nicer resort , THERE WAS A ROACH in my room !!!!, i couldn’t stay there anymore, no refund was given , host offered to clean the property but that doesn’t work for us . so i had to pay for 2 different properties at the same time. exspedia was no help also they keep calling me them put me on hold and nothing, worst place ever

Was almost perfect
Unit worked out perfectly. Only issue was German Cockroaches mostly in the kitchen. It wasn't a deal breaker since I'm actually a pest control operator. I did let the management know. Otherwise it was great!

Nice but noisy
A nice spot close to the beach and Waikiki! I did message the owner because the air conditioning sounds like it's a plane taking off every few minutes. We did not get a good night rest :( they didn't respond to us when we asked if it was normal sounding. The windows are thin and since you face the city side it's pretty loud. We are super tired because of the loud AC but overall a nice and affordable spot

Way to go for a family
I was there alone. TV and Internet did not work, called property management after hours, left message to call me back the following day - No call back. I futzed around and got the Internet. Never figured out the TV. Finally, my niece futzed around with it and got it working. It is closed captioned and no way to turned the feature off. The option is dimmed out. Over all, a family with kids would be very happy with this arrangement. It's quiet, safe, near the Ala Moana Mall. Not far from the beach.

Clean and reasonable
The space with simple decor was pleasing. The bed was very comfortable. There were some issues though. Wifi was disconnected when I arrived and there was no help available at that time. I left a couple messages and never heard back. I reconnected some dangling cords and re-started a modem and it eventually worked. Also there were no beach towels in the unit, although that was expected. The shower was hard to figure out. The advice sent by email didn't apply to this shower unit. Again, I tinkered and figured it out by day 3. There are no condiments or even coffee, tea or salt and pepper to get your started in the kitchen. Yet, I know how to make the best of a situation and found the location is excellent.

Great condo and location!
We plan to stay here again when we return to Honolulu. My only suggestion to improve would be new pillows on the bed. The flatten and separate and it was a pain in the next. Otherwise, perfect. Thanks!

Wonderful location minutes away from everything.
Best part of the stay is that you are literally minutes away from everything. Stay is on Ala Moana, next to all the boats, Pearl Harbor, Lagoon Towers and Ocean. I would say 15m away from the main Waikiki strip where all the stores are.

Ilikai Marina apartment
The biggest thing was the keyless system. We thought the door would automatically lock when we closed it and left. It did not and we had to press the keypad when we left to lock the door. There were no instructions about the system except to put in the code and open the door. The apartment needs freshening up with paint and cleaning the curtains and fixing them with the hooks. Everything else was okay and we were comfortable.

Overall, was a decent stay. We loved the location and the amazing view, but we were disappointed in some of the details. We found out when we got to our stay, that the building was going through a bunch of maintenance that week, which meant that we had to be gone at certain hours, our water was turned off, etc. Wish we had a heads up at least. Besides that, the building is just old and a bunch of the amenities could use some good updating. Overall, the location was perfect to spend a week at the beach and explore Honolulu as well!:)

Property has a great location near the beach and access to the public parking deck. However, information provided for parking was confusing and delayed getting into the unit. Recommend talking to a parking deck attendant to ensure you are not over charged. Security is present at the building 24/7 and restaurants are available right across the street.

Basic accommodations
The apartment was okay. Nothing fancy. Checking in and out was easy. The floors weren’t cleaned well and the bathroom towel bars kept falling off the walls. The balcony is a bit dangerous since there is large spacing between where the railing ends and the wall begins. Not good for people traveling with children or pets. This unit would be best for adults who aren’t looking for anything fancy.
