Tämä ylellinen Oceanfront-sviitti on loma-asunto, joka sijaitsee Diamond Head Beach -hotellin 7. kerroksessa Waikikissa. Nauti upeista näkymistä Waikikin arvostetulle Kultarannalle, Diamond Headille ja Tyynelle valtamerelle. Tämä rehevä Kapiolani-puisto vastapäätä ja lähellä Waikikin akvaaria, Outrigger-kanoottikerhoa, Honolulun eläintarhaa ja Waikikiä, on uskomaton aarre erinomaisella paikalla.

Great location and space just needs a bit more attention to keep kitchen clean
Location and view were fantastic. Indoor furniture is dated and uncomfortable should have a nicer at least comfortable couch for price… Also patio needs the couch pulled out and a good sweep….Biggest challenge was lack of basic supplies to keep the kitchen clean for ourselves and the next guests…kitchen was not very well equipped we were left two dishwasher pods for a ten day stay making keeping the dishes clean a challenge we were left a quarter small container of dish soap meaning the dishes and pots were not easy to keep clean and were left three small kitchen garbage bags

Great rental
The condo was perfect for us. We had two teenagers with us and they had their own room. It was a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but close enough to walk to everything. The decor could use a refresh as it’s a little outdated and the couch in the living room is really uncomfortable. My only critique is that the Vrbo app wasn’t a great way to contact the owner. It was “having issues “ for the majority of our stay. Not sure what was going on there.

Great location! Great condo!
We loved this condo in the Diamond Head/ Waikiki area. Let me start with the very few negatives: 1- everything in Honolulu feels dated. Meaning, it looks like most buildings were built in the 70s. 2- with that said, expect dated elements in the condo too. Low, popcorn ceilings, vertical blinds. No big deal, just letting you know. 3- the sofa is very firm and uncomfortable but we spent most of our time on the FANTASTIC balcony so it was not an issue. 4- the listing has the 2nd bedroom with 2 double beds. They are SINGLES, not doubles. The PROS: 1- we loved the location!! It felt very safe and it's across from a vibrant park that gives you a local feel. The parking is a little tough at times but we could usually find a spot around the park or in the metered area. It was free overnight. 2- the oceanfront view is the best, the balcony is comfortable and there is a grassy courtyard right on the water that is perfect for sunbathing without sand. 3- You are less than a mile from the Waikiki area, including a Starbucks. ;-) I would walk there every morning and the sidewalk would be busy with runners. 4- there are beaches all along the route from the condo to the heart of Waikiki so it's easy to find a spot you like. Chairs are provided at the condo. 5- check in was easy and there is an elevator to the 7th floor. Only 1 elevator but we never had to wait long. 6- the kitchen was sufficient and the beds were comfy. They supplied plenty of towels and beach towels. Thanks!

Christmas vacation
The description of the property was spot on. The only surprise was the beautiful view from the lanai, there are no words that can accurately describe how awesome and amazing it is, you have to see it for yourself. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view and location
Location was amazing, just 15 minutes walk to Wakiki. Right on the ocean with a deck to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view. The only issue was the poor cleanliness. Had to wash all silverware and dishes before using. Floors, Stove and counter tops were dirty. Overall, would recommend staying here.

Wonderful home away from home
The balcony was like a little tranquil spot with the right amount of breeze, lovely view and nature sounds morning and night. It was definitely paradise. We were within walking distance of the beach and shopping. I personally enjoyed watching the surfers riding the waves and hearing the waves crash below. One night I even fell asleep for a little bit to the sound. We decided not to rent a car during our stay which was the perfect choice for my family and me. We bought trolley tickets on day 3 of 6 and enjoyed the guides of the Waikiki Trolley and took trips to some amazing locations. I 100% would recommend booking a stay here. Mark, our property manager was always quick to respond and very friendly. There were items we could take to the beach and use like snorkeling gear, beach towels, chairs and an umbrella. The people we encountered at this location were friendly as well. Grounds were well kept and the environment was all outstanding. When we decide to come back if this location is available it will be my number 1 place to search for.

Perfect location. Awesome views
The condo is so spacious. We are a family of 4 with college age kids and had plenty of room in it. The lanai adds up to another room. The views are incredible on the ocean side and at the same time you can see the Diamond Head right next to you from the hallway. The opposite side opens up the view of Waikiki where they had fireworks one night. The place is sparkling clean and had all the dishes you need. Our flight was leaving late in the evening and the host accommodated us to stay later in the condo.

Great location
Our stay was great and in a great location for Diamond Head and Waikiki beach. Our only complaint was that the shower did not drain well. We would have to wait about 25 minutes after my son's bath before anyone else could shower, and even just after a shower 10 minutes or so before the next person could shower without standing in ankle deep water. Everything else was lovely and the owner was very responsive. They have a cooler and some beach chairs and things like that, but the kitchen supplies are limited if you're cooking or looking for plastic cups/baggies to use, etc. Overall great stay though and the view is outstanding from the patio!

The View was amazing! We sat outside more than inside The Condo had anything we needed.
Condo was enough to enjoy our stay. The manager needs to pay more attention to details. No dishwasher pods, air conditioner in back bedroom has an musty smell and needs cleaned, the coffee pot was dirty. A few bugs that needs sprayed for. Other then those few things the Condo was a great stay.

This place could be great!
This place is in a great location. The most amazing part of it is the huge lanai directly overlooking the ocean. However, the unit is not “newly remodeled” and needs some care. Linens need replacement, furniture is damaged, and it definitely needs a paint job. I’d also recommend providing more than 3 dishwasher detergent tabs and more glasses - I ended up buying a $2 wine glass and leaving it there. With a “refresh” the unit would be amazing. Property management is very responsive and great to work with.

Good location, but smells
The location of the property was good, but we were disappointed as soon as we walked in. The location and view were beautiful. As soon as we walked in we could smell mold. The property owner was always quick to respond. He shared that there was a leak the week before in another unit and were told not much could be done to help the smell. After using the shower, it became clear that some of the odor was in the shower drain since the tub did not drain well at all and the result was standing in several inches of water. The smell was overpowering. We wondered how the tub/shower had been cleaned properly since the drain was so slow. The property owner sent out maintenance quickly and cleaned out a large amount of hair from the drain. This improved the smell and allowed the tub to actually drain, but some odor still lingered our entire stay. At the advise of the the property owner, we had to leave the window open in the bathroom the entire time. When we went to use the dishwasher, it also smelled. We ended up washing all the dishes by hand to avoid opening the dishwasher due to this foul smell. In addition to all the odors, the unit just seemed worn. We would not stay in this property again.

Great location / condo pretty good
We loved the location of the condo. Great to get out of Waikiki and enjoy a more tranquil atmosphere. Diamond head is central to most parts of the island and we explored all parts of Oahu from here. The condo needs a little love. It wouldn’t take much to make the condo more cozy and functional. We made peace with the condo’s idiosyncrasies and settled in just fine.

Perfect location! Walk into Waikiki for all the action and enjoy unobstructed views of surfers and sunsets. My sons even watched the Friday night firework from the comfort of their beds. We were happy we booked the parking too. Never had to worry about finding a parking spot after our days exploring the island.

Ocean front lanai is as good as it gets.
Stayed here many years ago. Nice to see the furniture upgrades. Well equipped kitchen with some staples, though we only made breakfasts during our stay. The 2 bedrooms have separate entrances which is nice (some of the other oceanfront condos do not). Extra beach chairs and boogie board were great.

Fantastic Location
You can't beat this location on Oahu! This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel and Residences and we would do so again. The building management was super-responsive and communication was excellent - the best we have experienced. The living room furniture was not particularly comfortable and the linens are not great quality - although the mattresses were comfortable. We didn't consider this is a significant issue in a unit with a large lanai, wonderful views and 2 bedrooms. This a great option for a beach vacation!
