Tervetuloa "Perfect Lake House -kokemukseen". Hospitality ja tunne "Olen kotona" on mitä voit kokea hetken ajaa läpi portin tälle järvi talon. Hanging with the family weekend.

Host worked with us to check in early so one of us could get logged in for work meeting. Place was clean and as described. The common area was spacious. All the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked to the hilt with everything a family would need and some. And, the dogs loved it. Allowing responible owners to bring dogs is excellent.

Great getaway!

The property was perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of room for 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, plenty of gated yard for the dogs, plenty of seating inside and outside. Overall the house and apartments/exterior rooms were decorated beautifully and perfect for a lake house. Brandie was very responsive and accommodating to our questions and requests. We hope to be back soon!

Gorgeous property & neighborhood, responsive host

We came out for a weekend trip to Hidden Falls Adventure Park to do some 4wd trail riding. Before we even booked the home, I reached out to Brandy to ask about proximity to the park (it's difficult to determine only based on the approximate location). She was fast and polite in responding and we ended up booking. The property is gorgeous, and right on the water. We brought kayaks and went out in the evenings to watch the sunset on the water. The home itself has two bedrooms, with two more bedrooms in different structures, which might be nice for groups that have folks with a need for privacy or go to bed early. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and overflowing with deer, and we even spotted a little fox at night. A+ host and home, would highly recommend and will probably visit again.

Beautiful property - we didn't want to leave (....but we did)

We had a great stay at this gated lakehouse. A gorgeous yard perfect for dogs, kids, and yard games. Took a snooze and read in the hammock we brought. Enjoyed the peaceful water back in this channel - saw and heard lots of birds (and the dogs appreciated the squirrel activity). We brought our boat with us, and it was very easy to put in/take out at the neighborhood boat ramp. We cannot wait to come back! Thanks for a great trip.

Wonderful Property

We truly enjoyed our stay at Brandie's lake house! The grounds are beautiful and our pups enjoyed the freedom to run around without us worrying about them getting out. The neighborhood is quaint with lots of deer and friendly folks. Since it's in HSB, it's near to many amenities like boat rentals, kayak rentals, restaurants and the club itself. Will definitely return!

Great place!

We very much enjoyed our time here. The surrounding houses are gorgeous- but this house was more our 'style'. Great decor, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable- the casitas worked great for us. We brought our boat (boat ramp right down the street) and tied up at the dock/ platform area. We enjoyed cruising the lake. I don't think we would've swam right off the dock (lots of lilypads)- but my husband did jump in to cool off. We caught a bunch of fish right off the dock. Overall great time and great memories were made. We all agreed we would stay here again!

Relaxing Birthday Vacation

This is my first time ever doing something like vrbo and Brandie made it all awesome experience. She communicated very well and made everything seamless and clear. The place was beautiful and very clean. The outside setting was great! We had no issues and look forward to coming back again. The people in the area were friendly and the area extremely scenic. Perfect gathering place for family!

What a wonderful location for a holiday gathering with family. The huge wraparound deck with multiple tables & chairs & comfortable /plentiful indoor seating was great! Large lawn perfect for yard games & our dog, plus plus direct lake access fun as we brought a kayak and paddle board. Host was so helpful & friendly with excellent communication. Will definitely return & recommend.

Labor Day 2021

We booked this VRBO for Labor Day 2021. It was perfect for 5 persons and two dogs. This house is large yard with a corner lot feeling due to the bend in the channel. It sits across from the Horseshoe Bay Activity center which provides great neighborhood lighting at night. Add the fire pit and wrap around deck and it checks all the boxes. Boat ramp is private so no lines and easy access as well.

Great location

This house is in a great area if you don’t want to have boats cruising by all day. The yard is large so kids have room to run. If you do have a boat, it is only a couple hundred yards to open water and there is neighborhood ramp 3 doors down so you don’t have to worry about finding a public ramp or a place to store your trailer. The owner is great too.

Beautiful property

The property is great and has a nice spacious gathering area in the house: As mentioned in the listing, there is no bathroom or running water connected to the two cabana type rooms. On of the rooms is not close to the inside bathroom. There are not completely covered walkways to get from the cabana type rooms to house so you will get wet if it’s raining. We knew that going in but it kind of sets people up to do a little extra work to get to the bathroom areas. I think it’s great for teenagers or kids. regardless, we would stay here again because we loved it.

Nothing fancy but a great wraparound porch with comfortable seating. Lots of separate seating areas for quiet and/or group conversations. Bring leashes for pets because yard not completely fenced in.

Property maintenance issues

I dealt with many maintenance issues during the first 3 weeks of my stay including septic problems, leaking roof causing water to accumulate inside entry, termite swarms in main bedroom and bathroom, wood bees burrowing into rotting wood posts that supported the porch roof, Direct TV not working, and problems with getting the yard maintenance done before I arrived and during the stay. For the owners benefit, so she could address the damage done by the insects and roof leaks, I left a week earlier than planned. During the 3 weeks I was there, I handled the immediate problems as the owner was not in town. I am waiting on a refund for the unused week, the owner has not been particularly helpful in this matter.

Birthday weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home. It’s such a well-appointed property with a relaxing wrap-around porch that makes for a perfect place to gather and enjoy the view of the lake. We rented a boat that was delivered to the dock at the house. Would love to return!
