Lakeview Log Cabin is an updated, charming escape from the hustle of the city, located just an hour outside of Austin. You can relax on the back porch and take in the amazing views of Lake Marble Falls. Enjoy sunsets that will take your breath away. This unique and tranquil couples getaway feels completely private and will instantly soothe your soul. Designed for ultimate relaxation, you won't want to leave. This hillside, hand built log cabin is truly one of a kind, and has been updated to provide all the modern luxuries you desire while retaining the warmth and uniqueness of the original design.

Lakeview Log Cabin has a fully functioning kitchen, breakfast table, living room, dining room, and an open, loft-inspired master bedroom and reading nook.

Living Area:
Cozy up on the oversized sectional and watch a movie with your significant other on the 65 inch smart TV where you can easily log on and access your streaming accounts (Netflix, Hulu, Prime). Sit in the plush chairs and admire the scenery while listening to one of the vintage vinyl records provided on the record player. The living room is open to the breakfast room with a table and chairs.
The kitchen is fully stocked and includes stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, electric tea pot, nespresso, coffee maker, water cooler, cookware and plates. There is also a dining room and table with gorgeous views of the river for a romantic dinner setting. Local Coffee, coffee filters, Nespresso pods, sugar provided.

The room off the dining room will be locked during your stay. It is the front room of the house where we store personal items and supplies.

Bathrooms:
There is an en suite full bathroom off the bedroom upstairs as well as a full bathroom downstairs. Both have walk in showers and complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer) as well as linens.

Bedroom:
The entire upstairs is the loft-style bedroom with a cozy chair for reading and a sitting area. There is a king canopy bed with shear drapes that provide a place for peaceful slumber.

Back Porch:
The back porch provides the best views on the property. It is completely covered and has a gas grill. Grab a blanket on your way out to the dining table or patio furniture and enjoy sipping some early morning coffee.

Garage:
There is a detached garage with manual door that guest are welcome to park in, but be mindful of the guardrail when backing out.

**We have had so many requests for this that we decided to make it a permanent add-on! To take your stay to the next level, we are happy to offer the 'Romantic Retreat' package. We will prepare the cabin to include flower petals spread out on the bed and battery operated candles set out around the bedroom to create the most intimate ambiance. You will also receive two commemorative stemmed champagne flutes for you to keep as well as a bottle of chilled champagne. Lakeview Log Cabin sits nestled into a private hillside neighborhood. The cabin is very private, the neighbors feel miles away. Please drive slowly on the roads and watch for oncoming cars and animals but give your vehicle enough momentum to get up the hill on Taylor Drive. You can make it! Guests can park in either of the two driveways.

While Lakeview Log Cabin is a peaceful retreat, you are only a 5 minute drive into Downtown Marble Falls. You can quickly get into town for shopping at the boutiques, grabbing a beer at one of the local breweries, renting a boat or kayak or taking a tour of the underground caves. We also highly recommend hiking in Balcones Refuge. In addition, the Cabin is also minutes from Bay View Restaurant and the rest of Horseshoe Bay.
