Great stay
Me and my wife just spent our honeymoon here. It was great! Host was more than great, she meet us and gave us a tour of the property. It was great cause she show us how to use everything. We mostly used the hot tub while we were there but having the option to use a fire pit was great. Would recommend this place and we do plan to stay again in the future.

A Disappointing Stay
While this property boasts a charming interior and a cozy atmosphere, our recent stay was overshadowed by a handful of significant issues.The primary reason we chose this property was its advertised amenities, particularly the private boat dock and hot tub. Unfortunately, neither was operational during our stay. This was a major disappointment, as these amenities were a significant factor in our decision-making process.Additionally, communication with the owner was primarily through text message, which made the check-in process less smooth than expected. Direct communication through the VRBO app would have been more convenient.While the property itself is aesthetically pleasing, the lack of advertised amenities and less-than-ideal communication significantly impacted our overall experience. We believe that either these amenities should have been clearly stated as unavailable or the rental rate should have been adjusted accordingly.

Not only was this the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I, but the owner is absolutely wonderful! She didn’t just welcome us to her place but she went above and beyond on giving us ideas on places to go and things to do. She kept in communication throughout the weekend to make sure we had what we needed. The only thing we needed was more time to stay there lol.

The propery was nice overlooking the water. Its out in the country, so it was very quite. Host was very accommodating. The view was great and the hot tub was relaxing. Although it was a downstairs suite, it felt like we had the whole house to ourselves.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The place was beautiful and cozy. Deborah was the perfect hostess and was always just a text away if anything was needed. Great place to stay! We had a couples get away without the kids. Loved the hot tub and the bluetooth speaker for us to use. I enjoyed cooking in our little kitchen and the regular size fridge. Deb left us a treat in there😉 Will definitely keep this place in mind for our next secret get away.❤️

Great place for a couple
We had such a great stay at this rental. It was exactly as it is listed. The reviews are correct, the outside yard,deck,hot tub, lake and dock all add to this quaint couples retreat. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and generous. She had an answer to every question and even helped my wife direct the boat trailer back. She made us an awesome lemon Bundt cake and picked fresh tomatoes and peppers from her garden for us to grill with our chicken on the grill. She was great. I would recommend this to any couple wanting to relax and enjoy the lake. The stay was amazing. If I had one con for the place is that the bay it is in is shallow, about 4 feet for most of the bay and in some areas 2 feet or less, no worries with a boat, plenty deep for it at the dock.

Great getaway spot!
Everything was perfect! The host was great. The property was cozy and relaxed, perfect for our anniversary stay. Woke up and drank coffee and read a book by the lake. Grilled steak and had a steak and egg breakfast. Relaxed in the hot tub. Just a great time. Highly recommend.

Beautiful lake view with easy boat access. Space was small but very clean and worked well for just my husband and I. Kitchen was minimal with little space to prep but the outdoor space made up for that. We hope to return in the future.

We loved it….
It was clean and I can’t say enough about our hostess. We were celebrating our 26th anniversary and she left us moscato chilling in the fridge with some really amazing chocolate muffins. The weather got bad and she made chili and rice for us so we would not have to get out in the storm. It was really good. We brought our boat and she helped us get it in the water. She is good at it too. If you are fishing you should make note of the lake levels. They lower the lake so people can work on their docks but in March they bring the levels back up. The hostess has no control over the water in the lake. The yard is awesome and the neighbors are older people and quiet. So are we so that worked out great! We built a fire in the pit one night. It was so nice out by the water. Inside the house, the kitchen is small but I made breakfast every morning until we left with no problem. I cooked things ahead of time to bring in anticipation of the weather so we did use the microwave a lot for lunch. Tall people will find it a challenge to do dishes so my husband got a break, lol. Not a deal breaker for us. There is no couch, just the bed. So if you bring kids you might consider an air mattress. Next time we stay we will bring ours and leave it for someone else to use if needed. There are two comfy chairs and the tv has hdmi hookups. The bed has a wonderful firm mattress and We slept very well on it. It is queen sized and it worked fine for us. The shower is so nice. She has great water pressure. The water seems to be filtered but not softened because it tastes good. But the best part is if you have any problems and you let her know, she will take care of it and right away. Always helpful but not hovering. It was just a nice comfortable stay and we plan to go back. Maybe she can teach me to back a boat trailer. Lol!

Our host was the nicest, spunkiest lady we had the pleasure to deal with. She made our stay so easy. She updated us on places to go enjoy from food to local entertainment. She was literally a text or call away if we needed anything. The studio was clean and roomy for a studio. Very nice bathroom. The outdoor area was perfect for a nightly fire (we were rained out), or a relaxing hot tub soak.
