"In the room, they serve free water cans, right next to paid ones. I accidentally drank one, and realised my mistake. They charged me £8.5 for a bottle of water, when you can have as much free water as you like. It is set up to trick customers. I asked for the minibar to be removed. They have glued the minibar inc. expensive water and snacks onto the desk, and wanted £25 to remove the mini-bar. I explained my religious reasons for the removal, and they agreed to take the alcohol out for free. When they came to do that, there were about 5 staff, who were rude and shouted from the corridor "why do you want it removed" and "she wants the alcohol removed'. They took it, and as they left, I can hear them in the corridor shouting "she wanted the alcohol removed". I did not want to repeat the experience so ended up not making fuss about the fact that they locked the fridge so my personal food went bad as I could not store it. I woke up to a cleaner crashing into my room around 8am. She said she wanted to check is there is someone in the room. Then, another cleaner was banging and slamming doors for the following half an hour, and shouting in the corridor. I asked her to be mindful of the fact that guests are sleeping in their rooms, and the shouting and slamming continued. The rooms is great, and spa is good. Receptionist is defensive."
