Nestled amidst majestic pines and manzanitas, this beautiful A-frame cabin has rustic charm and mid-century modern comforts. It is in a very remote and serene setting but is only a few miles from town and major trailheads. Every room provides endless views; watching the sun rise over Lily Rock from the living room and master bedroom can not be missed! The vast lower deck is perfect for relaxing, taking in the lovely views, or stargazing at night. You will never forget the time you spend here.
The space
The master bedroom has a newly remodeled bath with a shower, and there is a full bath downstairs. The lower deck has ample seating from built in benches, as well as a chaise lounge.
Despite being in the mountains, the wifi/internet here is just as good as it is in the city. Working remotely from the dining room table is very possible, though the view may distract you from your laptop screen!
Guest access
Guests have full access to the main cabin, including the laundry area. The cabin sits on over half an acre abutting national forest land, so you'll have plenty of room to roam.
There is a beautiful studio apartment on the ground floor of the cabin with a queen bed, well-appointed kitchen, and bath. It will be empty during your stay, but it is available if you'd like more space. Please inquire about the extra rental fee.
Other things to note
The cabin has recently been renovated, with new dual pane windows and a new master bath, among other great updates. Also, all the furniture and bedding, etc. is new. You might feel inclined to move in permanently!
Please note that in winter season chains may be required for all vehicles. We'll let you know if snow will be an issue during your stay.
If you're interested in hiking, you will appreciate the provided adventure pass (for trailhead parking) and detailed Tom Harrison map of local trails.
