Fantastic Yard, Spotty Communication
Overall my family and I had a wonderful time at the house although there were definitely some challenges with lack of instructions and communication with the host. The kitchen is large and pretty well stocked with the basic supplies needed to cook every day. We really enjoyed using the gas fireplace in the living room. The back yard is VERY nice, we were able to make use of the fire pit and grill. The listing says there is a pickleball court. There is not a pickleball court, there is a concrete area where the ping pong table is and they have placed a small net there that could theoretically be used to play 1-1 pickleball. There are 5 bedrooms and the layout of the house allows for privacy between each room which was nice. The kids loved the game room. The beds downstairs and the bunk beds were pretty creaky so the sleep situation wasn't the best in those rooms but the primary bedroom was comfortable. Also, I agree that the cleaning supplies they use are noxious! Once we aired the house out it was ok.There is a really cool hiking spot less than 5 minute drive from the property: Indio Hills Badlands Loop - definitely recommend. Unfortunately we were not able to have consistent use of the hot tub because it is controlled remotely and communication with the host was spotty. There is no house manual. We had to message through the VRBO app and wait, sometimes several hours to a day for a response. With a little work this could be a great spot.

Average and not well maintained
Unfortunately the pictures do not accurately depict the property that we stayed in. Communication from property manager was spotty at best. We told them of two issues and no response at all other than an offer to book again. Be aware these are definitely not queen beds as listed. I gave it an average rating but that was being generous.

Pictures are amazing
We loved the pics online and chose the place based on that although when we arrived we saw the complex was on the wrong side of the 10 fey for us but oh well. View from the upstairs primary bedroom was great. Pool and hot tub are great but there were no instructions tonite the hot tub and jets so 2 out of 3 times the host was able to turn it on remotely for me. Floors were very dirty with hair and dust so my wife swept when we got there. Counters were clean but the smell of industrial cleaning solutions hit us strong when we walked in so we had to put the mops & stuff into their garage.
Lots of deferred maintenance on this house hosted by what they told me was a “small company” so not a lot of personal touch. We had to purchase our own kitchen towels, there were none left for us. There were unhealthy snacks which was a feature but we would have preferred even a few coffee pods for us but got 0 for their Keurig machine, bummer.
Still really good value with 4 bedrooms for that price - just be prepared to bring almost all of your own amenities as the drawers and cupboards were nearly all empty.
