Spread out on a comfortable couch to watch a good DVD movie on the huge flatscreen TV, catch some warm sun through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, or catch up with old friends with glasses of delicious wine from White Mountain Winery. The kids will love annoying you with paper airplanes from the loft, and there's nothing like the aromas of a delicious soup wafting out from the full kitchen where you'll have everything you need to turn out amazing meals. There's plenty of seating at the dining table and lots of space on the deck for your next dinner party. When you're not skiing some of the nearby slopes or enjoying a fun hot-weather hike, take advantage of the shared tennis court for a little exercise with friends.

What's nearby:
Take the kids three-and-a-half miles west to visit the fairytale-themed Story Land with kid-friendly events, rides, and attractions. They'll also appreciate a trip to Living Shores Aquarium, where they can learn about their favorite animals with exhibits like Silver Moony Exhibit, Tropical Walkthrough Aviary, and the Freshwater Red Garra Touch Pool. You'll be less than seven miles from Attitash Mountain Resort with lots of fun ski runs for every age and ski level.

Disappointing reality
The location of the home was beautiful. There were nice views from the deck. However, we didn't feel safe having more than one person on the deck because of the state of disrepair that it was in. There were also upkeep issues inside the home. I took pictures to upload but I'm not being given the option to share them with this review. The edging on the floor was coming apart, leaving two sharp ends sticking out. This was not ideal with a toddler and 5 year old running around. The service team repaired the break with clear packing tape - that's not a joke (unfortunately). The upstairs shower also had a shoddy repair that left big open gaps into the back of the shower. We ended up leaving a day early because the internet wasn't working and their "local service" was a chatbot site. No one ever responded or came to fix the problem, despite us calling three times over 2 1/2 days. We had to work, and had online meetings scheduled, so we couldn't stay without internet service and were forced to leave a day early. This place might be good for a young couple, or people with no kids who are trying to escape cell phones and internet. If you need internet and decent cell service, this may not be the place for you. Also, it's a hard place to be with small children. There is no bathroom on the main level and there are two steep staircases leading to the bedrooms/bathrooms, which are located on the lower level and third floor loft.

Long weekend away
The customer service through the rental company vacassa was awful, I was told there weren’t blankets, a stocked kitchen etc which there was all on that. While traveling with two babies I ended up packing all of this bedding I did not need. The walkway, stairs, deck and path to the trash were not shoveled, nothing was de-iced and entry was very difficult, once again with two very small children.

Relaxing
My husband and I made an impulse decision on taking a quick trip away. We love the White Mountains areas and found this little gem of a place. Such a perfect set up, the layout just works so well, you have amazing views and you are tucked away. This place had so many games at hand, this house is perfect for relaxing and really spending quality time with your family. The kids took the two downstairs bedrooms and bath. I thought I would never see them. But as we know teenagers get hungry lol. The board games really made the nights fun. This place is on our to go to list for a perfect quiet piece of Heaven.

Great Stay
Great Location ~ lots to do in the area. House is very clean and spacious. Couple things that could be addressed is the air conditioner unit is not sufficient for the size of the house and its very warm on the first and second level and it leaks allover the floor. The outside lights on the front of the house over the large deck do not work/turn on. Lastly they could add some more utensils to the house, there were barely any for a family of 5. Other than those 3 inconveniences, everything about the house and our trip to Intervale was fantastic!

Great place!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. The views of the mountains were fantastic, and the kids loved the bunk room. I am not sure if it was clear from the listing or not, but there are 2 bunk rooms (one with two bunk beds, and one with one bunk bed). It was a little tight for two adult couples, but otherwise this was a great place!

Our favorite part of the house was the view from the living room and deck. We had beautiful Mountain views with our morning coffee, dinner and whenever we looked up from books or games. The layout of Helsinki House was great for privacy. My husband and I stayed upstairs I. The loft bedroom. Our guests and my 15 year old son used the two downstairs rooms. The kitchen dining and living room areas on the main floor we’re all open to each other and comfortably appointed. There is plenty to do in the area. We hiked both a Mount Washington and Mount Hale. We also went tubing on the Saco. Nearby restaurants; Tuckerman’s Restaurant and Tavern and The Red Fox Grille where close by And a very accommodating. May Kelly’s Cottage was our favorite there is a great view from the deck the staff is extremely friendly and the Irish food was great!

The basement was a bit noisy due to the a/c system? Once the bedroom door was closed it disappeared. The light in the basement shower stall continues to flicker. No iron or iron board so we had to purchase one. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and pots. The ride to town is about 15 minutes. The home is comfortable.

Friends Weekend
The home was comfortable and had plenty of eating, drinking and cooking supplies. Improvement suggestion: supply small personal items in each bathroom (shampoo/conditioner/bath soap) and a hair dryer. Cleanliness: refill/replace hand soap, check light fixtures ensure lightbulbs are working, (above sink and stove did not work). Windows overlooking view were VERY dirty with hand prints and a dead fly was in the bathroom sink downstairs. In today’s pandemic I was a little concerned about how well it was thoroughly cleaned. Repairs: Electrical issue with light in shower on lower level. Flickered off and on. Electrical outlet in bedroom upstairs by nightstand was very loose, light wouldn’t stay plugged in and neither would my phone and watch chargers. We truly did enjoy our time together in this home, just a few minor things could have made it even better.

Amazing Rental in White Mountains
This property was exactly what I expected and so much more! For starters, it was immaculately clean, which was especially comforting during this pandemic. The location was perfect, close enough to main attractions in the area (restaurants, stores, etc.) but still enough distance away that we felt we were in the secluded nature setting we were looking for. The property itself was beautiful. There is a picturesque view of mountains from these big living room windows that is unobscured. The lofted master bedroom just provides an even better view of the mountains right by the property which was an amazing sight to wake up to every morning. I took my boyfriend as a surprise trip for his birthday and I can guarantee he will never forget this trip. His favorite part was the sauna in the basement, which he frequently used throughout our stay. We only stayed for 2 nights but were already talking about when we could go back because of what a wonderful experience we had. I would 10000% recommend this property to anyone.
