Nice modern hotel

Pros: My room was big and comfortable and there was a bath as well as a shower. After Hiking it is good to soak in a bath to relive sore muscles
Cons: There were very high winds the night I stayed and that caused a sort of whistling sound near the windows. I don't know why that would happen.
Location: I was hiking down the west coast of Arran so it was a perfect location for me to end a days walk. Then it is perfectly located to get the bus back.
This is a large modern hotel. The room size for a single room was exceptionally large and comfortable. There was a bath and shower and the heating was good. The prices were reduced for the winter so it was good value for me. The food I got for dinner was alright but I don't think it was chef made although it might have been. Not that there was anything wrong with it. It was a nice stay for me I thought that it was luxurious compared to some of the single room accommodation I have stayed in.

Hotel in outstanding position by the sea

Pros: Loved the position and friendly staff The decor was modern and clean
We stay one night in this hotel, from the moment we arrived we were made to fell welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The only thing that stops us giving his hotel a five out of five was the evening meal . My husbands venison came out over cooked, went back but the second plate was a different cut and very tough.

Cons: The toaster for breakfast.
Excellent hotel and facilities. Staff extremely nice. Standard room very comfortable and well appointed. Location at Blackwaterfoot, is a bit isolated.
