This is a great place to stay while you are in Istanbul. The hotel is in a safe location, the staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and it is good to know Mubashir and the other staff.

Hi I stay 3 days in Deluxe room with my 2 friends Room was and bed was comfortable to sleep . Then next 5 days I stay in junior suit Room was super big and have Sofa as well. I notice only thing they can improve is more hot shower otherwise everything was Perfect.Breakfast was great and everything is closed by 6 mins walk to blue mosque and H.Sofia and Grand bazar ..Staff was super Great Sweet Helen always smile on her face . Ahmad and Mobashire both kids are very helpful and caring.. The owner of the hotel Mr. Salah was fantastic person very knowledgeable he took us in car for beautiful Istanbul drive in nite time thank you Mr. Salah .. Hello Everyone I stay first 3 days with my 2 friends in Deluxe Room on first floor Room it was Perfact very clean Bathroom was very clean and Shower nice and Wifi work great.Breakfast was Great.Now we moved to 2nd floor Juniors Suit room it is very big and Spacious.Now come to location is perfect exactly 12 mins walk blue mosque and all restaurants is very closed by grand bazar 10 walk and tram is 4 mins walk..Now come to staff of hotel Ahmad . Mobashir and Helen is very helpful caring with Polite Manner and the last the owner of the hotel Mr. Salah Last nite took us for beautiful Istanbul Ride in his car very kind of him very Knowledgeable person . Very quiet apart from the “call to prayer” from the nearby mosque. All staff were very helpful. An ideal location for walking to the main tourist sites and restaurants.

Lovely, charming, well run, small hotel that is very close to the tram line and Sultanahmet Square. Very nice breakfast buffet. My room was huge! There is also a large enclosed terrace, complete with a few friendly cats. I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel.

We stayed in the Junior Suite on the second floor (room 204) which was one very spacious big room that included a large 3 seater sofa and king bed and the en-suite had a brilliant powerful shower. Large windows mean it's very light and airy and the view down to the busy street makes for great people watching. It's not super quiet but it didn't bother us. We liked watching the daily going ons. The room next to us (203) also had street views. Others have a courtyard view. We found the bed too soft but this is personal choice. Everything else was faultless with our room. The mini bar prices actually matched what we would pay at the local shops. The breakfast is what you would expect from a 3-star hotel, more or less the same every day, no bespoke omelettes etc, just hard boiled eggs, sausages, and loads of other bits like cheese, salads, biscuits/cake. Each item is fresh and they have a great coffee machine so we really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff are lovely. Rooms are cleaned and toiletries topped up daily unless specified not to. The location is PERFECT, very central. We loved the Blue Gilroy Hotel and would happily stay here again.

What An Amazing Experience at Blue Gilroy
This was truly an amazing experience at the Blue Gilroy Hotel during August of 2024. The hotel Owner (Saleh), Mubashir, Ahmed and all the young ladies who cleaned our rooms and served us breakfast were warm, hospitable, and engaging while going above and beyond our expectations. My family loved how close the hotel was to the main Sultanahmet square, grocery stores and the Sultanahmet tram station. They have airport transfer service, laundry service, breakfast buffet and an outside garden with seating.The price for this fancy hotel was very worth it and we can't wait to return to Blue Gilroy during our next Istanbul trip!
