The property has beautiful and big gardens, a very peaceful atmosphere, an almost 300 year old tree, a historic fountain, many fruit (and other) trees, a pool and very friendly and customer oriented staff, especially the front desk manager who showed me around and gave me a lot of information about its history, plants etc. It is close to the new airport; 10-12 minutes drive away (which was the aim of my stay). The new airport is far from city center and touristic attractions so keep in mind that this hotel would not be the right one to choose if your aim is to explore Istanbul and its touristic attractions. However if you want to have some peaceful days out in countryside to rest or you want to stay close to the new airport at comparatively (to other airport hotels) much better prices, this is the place to stay. It has a nice breakfast as well. Some rooms are a bit dated and in need of uplifting but are clean. The manager explained to me that the renovations are being planned step by step taking into account customer feedback.

It is a lovely hotel but the wild dogs kept me up all night long with their barking. So I didn’t sleep at all!
