As good as expected

I have booked the hotel because of the very positive reviews and I have to say that it really deserved a high rating. The staff provides a high level of service. The hotel is well maintained and is in a great location. I will definitely book again on my next trip.

I had a wonderful experience at this luxury hotel. The spa was amazing, providing a perfect place to relax and unwind. A pleasant stay, central location, walking distance to Sultanamet area and tram line. Friendly staff some spa facilities. Only thing i didnt like was the design of the bathroom, its a clear glass walls with curtains other than that it was a nice hotel.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were informative and arranged a guide for a day - an excellent experience. The location was perfect, near to trams, ferries and the metro, with lots of places to eat. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon tea and cakes at the hotel. The rooms were large, despite being in a busy area after 11pm it was very quiet. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Terrific staff from greeting to departure. Everyone smiling, helpful, knowledgeable and going out of their way to help with bags or whatever. Lovely large room, spotlessly clean and well furnished. Excellent buffet breakfast for about $12. Perfect location in the old town. Walking distance from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisterns, Spice Market and Bazaar. Reasonably priced, right in the center of endless restaurants and shops and fronting on a trolley, if you are so inclined.

The Romance Istanbul Hotel has a fantastic location with easy walks to Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, and the tram lines. The hotel itself has a superb breakfast buffet, lovely comfortable rooms, and the best staff that I have ever encountered in 50 years of traveling. I truly felt sad leaving for the cruise ship. I can’t recommend it enough! And special thanks to Hakan and Onder for their help and restaurant recommendations!

Our family had such a wonderful stay at Romance! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is perfect—central and within easy walking distance to many of the city's iconic landmarks, making our exploration of Istanbul effortless. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which exceeded our expectations with its variety of delicious and fresh options, catering to everyone’s tastes. The quality and presentation of the food made our mornings something to look forward to. We were also fortunate to meet Ramazan, the best manager ever! He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always attentive and ready to assist with a charming smile. His dedication truly made a difference in our experience. The hotel also had beautiful, high-quality bathrobes, and we loved them so much that we decided to buy one as a wonderful keepsake from our stay.
