This is the perfect place for families or large groups (conferences, games). This listing is the entire building of a duplex (2 units) in Jacksonville's historic Springfield neighborhood.

IMPORTANT TO DETERMINE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT PROPERTY FOR YOU:
This house is on a block with old and new. You will see some run down homes and newly renovated homes. There is a corner store on the opposite corner of the property where neighbors tend to loiter. Some guests have felt uncomfortable with this. Some guests have not been comfortable with this area at night. Other guests have been perfectly fine with the environment. If you have lived in a major (ex NYC, SF, ATL, MIA) city before, this will be no surprise. If you are from elsewhere, we just want to make sure you feel safe here. We lived here with our young kids and felt safe but everyone is different!

The booking price includes both top and bottom units of the house. There are a total of 7 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It is perfect for a family reunion, weddings, or groups looking for a space to share. The property will sleep a total of 16 in beds. The property has a large fenced in lot with space to enjoy outdoor eating.

The first floor contains 3 beds (all Queen beds) / 2 full bathrooms plus kitchen, living, and dining area. The design of the bottom floor is light and airy. It has been completely renovated down to the studs.

The second floor contains 4 beds (3 Queen + 1 Twin) / 1.5 baths plus kitchen, living, and dining area. The design of the top floor is consistent with historic charm.

We are available by airbnb messenger, phone, text to assist with anything needed during your stay. We love hosting and look forward to making your stay as comfortable as possible.

We love historic Springfield which is located in Jacksonville adjacent to the downtown area. It is centrally located so that you can explore all Jacksonville has to offer. Springfield itself has 3 breweries, several local restaurants, and all the historic neighborhood charm.

There is a large park system called the Henry J. Klutho Park. This is a great park that has a children's playground, a dog park, frisbee golf course, baseball fields, and many others. There are views of downtown from this park so go have a picnic and enjoy the scenery.

Since Springfield is centrally located, you can get to most points of interest in less than 15 minutes by car.

My company hosted a team of artists at this property that came to Jacksonville for our event. They had a great stay and were accommodated by my staff. The property had enough space for them to be comfortable and feel at home. Would book again for a future event.

The stay was great. The home was beautiful. My only gripe is that the lower level has a major roach problem. We didn't feel comfortable preparing food there, so we prepared meals on the upper level. This was a major inconvenience as we normally would prepare everything as a family. I do have pictures if you would like them.

Great place with great amenities...
This was a great home to explore Jacksonville. It had everything needed including parking and space. The upstairs was more original with wooden floors and original layout. The bottom was newly refurbished. The upstairs does have 3 rooms connected with doors between and the neighborhood could be called up-and-coming - but is a little sketchy. Altogether, it was a great stay.

Great house
The place really is lovely. Clean, shiny etc. The top apartment has lots of original wood features, etc. The bottom all shiny and new - so nothing to complain about. Did our laundry there with nice modern washer/dryer. Keypads made getting in and out/check in a breeze. As other reviewers note, the neighborhood is not the best so glad I had car. Beds were great. Slept like a log.

Nice Updated Duplex to stay for local concerts!
A girls weekend visiting Jacksonville for the Walker Hayes concert at the FL Theater. This duplex was perfect for the 6 of us! Very clean and updated with all the amenities. Plenty of room for us all. Owners were great with communicating! Just a heads up.....The neighborhood looks a little sketchy when you come in but we had ZERO issues. Everyone was very nice and we felt safe. I would stay here agin in a minute!

Great family gathering
This home was a great fit for our extended family. Three families drove from separate states and met here. The ability to have enough room to not feel crowded yet a large backyard to play games and have fun in was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking to get delicious food and exploring the craft breweries as well. The owners were extremely responsive to our questions and thoughts during and before our stay. Our only disappointment was previous renters had not cleaned up after their dog, and we found broken glass in the grass as well. If we are back in the Jacksonville area with the large group of people I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for Small Rehearsal Dinner & Getting Ready on the Wedding Day
This rental met all of our needs for our wedding weekend! All the spaces were clean and beautifully decorated. The rental has two front doors, one for the first floor and the other for the second. We rented both, and the kitchen and living room downstairs were spacious enough to host our rehearsal dinner for 26 people. You do have to let the host know if you’re planning on hosting a party and there is an additional event fee but we think it was worth it! My bridesmaids stayed on the second floor, which has more of a masculine aesthetic with all the dark wood & darker toned decor. The 3 bedrooms are also connected by doors on the second floor. The first floor has a lighter, more feminine feel, and it’s where we all got ready on the wedding day. I would note however that the area the rental is located in could be better (I believe Springfield is improving!) and there was construction near the rental when we stayed there. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend stay very much, we felt safe, it was close to our venue in Riverside, the check-in/check-out process was a breeze, the hosts were responsive and nice, it served many purposes for our wedding, and we had amazing memories here with our families and friends! We definitely recommend this rental for anyone staying in Jacksonville.

Summer vacation
The duplex was clean and nice. Fit a large group of 16 adults. Location is not in the greatest part of Jacksonville, but we had no issues. Would stay again!

Comfortable, stylish and very clean property in Jacksonville. It was my husband, son and I, plus a few of our employees. It was really nice to all be in one location, but have our own separate spaces. We really appreciated the cleanliness of it.

We needed a place to get ready before our wedding that was near our venue. This property worked out perfectly. The girls were able to use the downstairs which had a more modern feel to it. The guys used the more manly upstairs. There is plenty room with both units.
